  • Taylor Swift is a popular country music singer-songwriter whose self-titled debut album has sold more than 3 million copies. Swift's second full length album Fearless, released on November 11, 2008, spent seven consecutive weeks at the top spot on the Billboard U.S. pop albums chart.

    Swift won the award for Best Female video at the MTV Video Music Awards on September 13, 2009. Her moment was interrupted by Kanye West, who took the microphone and announced that Beyonce should have won. After the incident, Swift composed herself and went on to perform "You Belong With Me."

    Taylor Swift is reportedly teaming up with popular teen clothing brand L.E.I. to create a line of affordable sundresses to be sold at Wal-Mart. Swift says she "loves dresses" and has "always dreamed" of creating her own line of sundresses.     In January 2009, Variety reported that popular teen singer Taylor Swift was scheduled to appear in an upcoming episode of the CBS crime drama CSI.
