Tauseef Rehman, a Calcutta, India resident, is under investigation as a suspect regarding the Mumbai terror attacks which occurred the weekend of November 30, 2008. Rehman, along with Mukhtar Ahmed, have been accused of purchasing 22 SIM cards, some of which were used by the terrorists to make calls. Rehman allegedly had forged documents which they used to purchase the SIM cards and then provided some of the cards to Ahmed. SIM cards are microchips that are placed into cell phones. The cards carry all the personal information from a user's cell phone including call plan information and address book.
