• Tatum O'Neal is an Oscar-winning American film and television actress.

    O'Neal has spoken openly about her struggles with drug addiction and chronicled her troubled life in a 2004 autobiography called A Paper Life.

    On June 1, 2008, O'Neal was arrested in Manhattan for allegedly buying crack cocaine from a street drug dealer.

    O'Neal made her acting debut alongside her father, Ryan, in the critically acclaimed comedy Paper Moon. She won a "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar at the age of 10 for her part, and to date, she remains the youngest person to ever win an Academy Award.

    She starred in other films, including The Bad News Bears and Little Darlings, but stopped acting when she married tennis player John McEnroe in 1986. The two divorced in 1992, and according to her 2004 autobiography, A Paper Life, O'Neal struggled with drug and alcohol problems during that time.

    In 2005, she returned to acting playing Maggie Gavin on the TV drama Rescue Me. She continues to appear in films and TV shows, and recently competed in the second season of Dancing with the Stars, where she was eliminated in the second round.
