    Travolta and Preston's 16-year-old son Jett Travolta passed away on January 2, 2009, at a hotel in Freeport, Grand Bahama. Lightbourne spoke extensively with the press following Jett's death, stating that he witnessed John Travolta clinging to his son's body, crying, praying to God and repeating "I'm sorry, Jett.
