Minneapolis indie rock quartet Tapes 'n Tapes exploded after being featured on a number of prominent music blogs and on the popular music-review website Pitchfork Media. Their second album, Walk It Off, was released in April of 2008.

Career Overview
The band formed in 2004, whiel the members were attending Carleton College. Their self-released, self-titled debut EP came out in 2004, and their first full-length album, The Loon, hit in 2005 on Ibid Records. After being signed to XL Recordings in 2006, The Loon was re-released. Their second album, Walk It Off, followed in 2008, and was produced by David Fridmann, best known for his collaborations with Weezer, Mercury Rev and The Flaming Lips.
