  • Brief Background

    Tanushree Dutta was born in Jamshedpur, Jharkand, India. After completing her studies, she initially worked at Oracle in event management and market surveying.

    She competed in the Miss India pageant in 2002 and 2003 but was unable to win the crown. However, she prevailed in 2004, winning the title of Femina Miss India 2004.

    Her big break into the world of Bollywood film came in 2005 when she starred in Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Chocolate. Since then she has appeared in a number of films and has been working steadily as an actress.
