Tank Abbott is a mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter and a former professional wrestler.

Tank Abbot made his mixed martial arts debut at UFC 6 in 1995. In his first fight, he defeated John Matua by knockout after 18 seconds. With his displays of brute strength and force, Tank became one of the more popular fighters in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Between his years as an MMA fighter, Tank Abbott wrestled for World Championship Wrestling. He was expected to feud with Bill Goldberg, but the story never developed. Instead, Tank became a comedic character.
