Tampons

Categories: Products | Health
  • A Tampon is a round cotton or rayon plug placed in the vagina during the woman's period to soak up menstrual blood. They often come with a plastic or cardboard applicator to aid in insertion and a string to aid in removal. They are often chosen over menstrual pads because they are not visible under tight clothing and more comfortable in swimming. They also carry health risks including toxic shock syndrome.
