American professional basketball player Tamika Catchings plays for the Indiana Fever in the Women's National Basketball Association. She won a gold medal with the U.S. women's national basketball team at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Basketball Career
After winning the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship with the University of Tennessee in 2001, Catchings was drafted third overall in the WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever.Official Site: Tamika Catchings Bio She was sidelined for the 2001 season with injuries, but made her debut in 2002. Catchings was selected for the WNBA All-Star Game and as the WNBA Rookie of the Year, both in 2002. She has continued with the Fever in the years since and returned to the WNBA All-Star Game in 2003, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
