Donaldson is widely recognized for her association with Maxim magazine. In 2005 she won the Hometown Hottie contest. In 2006, she was named to the Maxim Hot 100, and in 2007 she was named Miss Maxim USA. She has also been featured on Ripe TV.

Tami Donaldson was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida She started modeling at the age of 15. She attended Florida Atlantic University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary education. She taught for a year before returning to modeling. She became a Real Estate agent and in 2005 won the Maxim Magazine Hometown Hottie contest. She was at one time romantically linked to musician Dave Navarro.
