Quick Recipe
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 14.5 ounce can stewed tomatoes
- 1 15 ounce can creamed corn
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 6 ounce can black olives, chopped or left whole
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degree Celsius.
- In a large frying pan, cook meat, onion and garlic until done. Drain off the fat.
- Add tomatoes, creamed corn, milk, olives, eggs and cornmeal to meat mixture, bring to a boil.
- Pour into a greased casserole dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes
- Add grated cheese on top, bake for another 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
