  • Talia Shire (born Talia Rose Coppola) is an American actress born on April 25, 1946. She is the sister of director Francis Ford Coppola.

    Her first roles were in the movies The Wild Racers and The Dunwich Horror. She has been nominated twice for an Academy Award (The Godfather Part II, Rocky).

    Notable roles include Connie Corleone, the daughter of Don Vito Corleone in the Godfather trilogy, and Adrian Pennino, the girlfriend and wife of Rocky in many of the Rocky movies.

    Talia Shire is the sister of Francis Ford Coppola and the aunt of Nicolas Cage and Sofia Coppola. She is the daughter of Italian composer Carmine Coppola. She has three children.
