In Tales of Vesperia, there are many different side quests and secret objectives that branch off from the main story. Notable examples include The 7 Fell Arms, Sorcerer's Ring and the Coliseum battles.

Tales of Vesperia Side Quests Info
Many of the "side quests" in Tales of Vesperia are no more than fetch quests, assignments from NPCs or minigames. However, some of the side quests in the game are larger, require more time and energy and have valuable rewards. Some of the more key side quests are briefly outlined in the body of this page.

Notable Tales of Vesperia Side Quests
- Tales of Vesperia Secret Missions
- The secret missions are 23 optional boss fight challenges, where the player has to fulfill specific combat criteria during the fight. Many of the secret missions involve defeating the boss in a certain fashion, or using a particular Arte, etc. The secret missions also double as Achievements.
- Tales of Vesperia - The 7 Fell Arms
- The 7 Fell Arms are especially magical weapons that can be found hidden throughout the game world. The purpose of finding the 7 Fell Arms is to trigger key cinematic sequences at certain moments in the game. Additionally, they are powerful weapons in their own right.
- Tales of Vesperia - Sorcerer's Ring
- The Sorcerer's Ring is a standard item of Yuri's that can blast objects and enemies, and can be leveled up to level three through normal means. However, in order to acquire many of the 7 Fell Arms, the Sorcerer's Ring will need to be upgraded to level 5.
- Tales of Vesperia - Bonus Dungeon
- The bonus dungeon in Tales of Vesperia is only accessible on a the second play through of the game. It is a especially difficult dungeon, where players can power-level their characters, acquire vast quantities of Gald and fight powerful enemies.
- Tales of Vesperia Coliseum Battles
- There is a battle coliseum in Tales of Vesperia, located in Nordopolica. The battles consist of fighting off multiple waves of enemies, and players can earn Gald, titles, prizes and equipment. The fights range from fighting 30 enemies all the way up to fighting 200 enemies at once.
- Tales of Vesperia Giganto Monsters
- In Tales of Vesperia there are gigantic, powerful monsters aptly called Giganto Monsters. They are high-ranking, have a lot of HP and yield better rewards. Brucis, for instance, is the highest level Giganto Monster at level 62 and drops the Bluewing for loot.
- Tales of Vesperia Grade Shop
- As players win battles in Tales of Vesperia, they will build up currency known as Grade. On the second play through, all of the accumulated Grade can be used to purchase special items from the Grade Shop. For instance, for 3000 Grade, the 2x XP enhancement can be purchased, which will double all earned experience points.
- Tales of Vesperia Monster Book
- The Monster Book is a collection of information about each monster you fight in Tales of Vesperia. Additionally, if you use the Magic Lens on monsters, it will provide you with more detailed information. Filling the Monster Book with every monster unlocks the Monster Nerd Achievement
