Tales of Vesperia Secret Missions
The Tales of Vesperia Secret Missions are optional combat objectives during boss fights, some more difficult than others. For instance, the first Secret Mission can be completed by simply preventing Estellise from taking damage during the Zagi boss fight; Secret Missions 17, however (which has caused some heated chatter on message boards), requires the player to burst Yeager's heart using Rain Arte with Raven.NeoGAF: Tales of Vesperia Thread - PG. 14 (Secret Missions Info) -

- Secret Missions 01:
- During: 1st Zagi fight
- Condition: Prevent Estellise from taking damage; defeat Zagi
- Secret Mission 02:
- Condition: While he charges his X Buster move, attack Goliath's Achilles' heal to defeat him
- Secret Missions 03:
- Condition: Stun Gattuso by using the billybally plants
- Secret Mission 04:
- During: 2nd Zagi fight
- Condition: Knock Zagi off the side of the boat after positioning him to the side
- Secret Mission 05:
- Condition: When it leaves it self wide open while leaning back, drown the Dreaded Giant
- Secret Mission 06:
- Condition: Prevent Gigalarva from healing; use Raven's Serpent skill to set a trap
- Secret Mission 07:
- Condition: Destroy the bridge supports when fighting Barbos
- Secret Mission 08:
- During: 3rd Zagi fight
- Condition: Destroy Zagi's bohdi blastia; let him overload by absorbing too much magic
- Secret Mission 09:
- Condition: Stop Pteropus from re-combining; defeat the Leader Bat
- Secret Mission 10:
- Condition: Prevent Outbreaker's magic from inverting day and night; destroy the core
- Secret Mission 11:
- Condition: Against Belius, light up all the candlesticks and destroy all illusions
- Secret Mission 12:
- Against Nan and Tison, time your strikes in such a way as to knock both of them down
- Secret Mission 13:
- After using his Mystic Arte, defeat Schwann by attacking him while he holds his heart
- Secret Mission 14:
- During: 4th Zagi fight
- Condition: Using Karol's Nice Recovery smash Arte, cause him to recover from poison
- Secret Mission 15:
- Condition: Against Baitojoh, attack three times during his Ice Edge attack; complete attacks out of water
- Secret Mission 16:
- Condition: Against Estellise, use the Mother's Memento item
- Secret Mission 17:
- Condition: Against Yeager, cause his heart to explode by using Raven's Rain arte
- Secret Mission 18:
- Condition: When he's tired after using a Mystic Arte, attack him to defeat him
- Secret Mission 19:
- Condition: Against Gusios, attack his tail; to defeat him, attack while his feet are raised
- Secret Mission 20:
- Condition: Against Khroma, beat her by timing your attacks in between her own attacks
- Secret Mission 21:
- Condition: Against Flynn, make sure he uses every Arte he has (as well as Mystic Arte)
- Secret Mission 22:
- During: 5th Zagi fight
- Condition: After he is tired from Blastia Bane, attack him to defeat him

- Condition: Beat the Duke by using a Mystic Arte
