In Tales of Vesperia, each enemy that a player fights will be logged into an item called a Monster Book, which keeps track of important details on every type of monster species encountered in the game. The use of a magic lens during combat will also reveal additional information such as stats. The cost of carrying over all of the Monster Book data into a subsequent playthrough is 10 grade.
