Story
In Tales of Vesperia, the main characters are Yuri Lowell, Estellise, Flynn Scifo, Repede, Rita and Karol Capel. The main protagonist, Yuri, is a knight who is called to investigate a mysterious ancient technology.Gameplay
Gameplay for Tales of Vesperia improves on the Evolved Flex-Range Linear Motion Battle System (EFR-LMBS) used in Tales of the Abyss. Improvements include the ability to use combo attacks on non-boss enemies. Players will learn new skills, carry equipment and create unique and rare items throughout the game. The battle system is not turn-based as in games like Final Fantasy, but adds some elements of real-time combat. The game features status bar indicators at the bottom of the screen that represent both health and magic (or mana). The game also features open world exploration, allowing players to move around at their own pace.Other games in the series include Tales of the Abyss, Tales of Destiny, and Tales of Symphonia. Although this is considered to be an Xbox 360 title, there is speculation that a PlayStation 3 port may also be in development. Yoshito Higuchi returns as the chief director and producer from Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia. Musician Bonnie Pink will also be lending her vocals to both American and Japanese versions.
