Daddy Yankee plays Edgar Dinero, a young man who comes from the slums in Puerto Rico and has ties to the neighborhood violence. Dinero, also a talented reggae singer, falls in love with a respectable girl from whom he tries to hide his connections to the seedy side of Puerto Rico.
