    Taking Woodstock is a 2009 film based on the book by Elliot Tiber and Tom Monte. The movie tells the true life story of Eliot Tiber, played by Demetri Martin. Elliot works at the financially struggling motel of his parents in Catskills. In order to get the family business out of debt, he puts in motion the groundwork for the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival.
