• Taking Back Sunday is a popular rock band from New York City comprised of Adam Lazzara, Matt Fazzi, Eddie Reyes, Mark O'Connell and Matt Rubano. The band broke onto the alternative music scene with their debut album Tell All Your Friends, but the album had little commercial success. Their next release, Where You Want to Be had much greater commercial appeal, selling more than 100,000 copies and reaching the third spot on the Billboard top 200 albums chart. In 2006, the band had their major record label debut on Warner Bros. Records with the release Louder Now. In late 2007, backup vocalist and guitarist Fred Mascherino announced that he would leave the band to focus on his solo career.
