Career
After working as an assistant to cinematographer Haskell Wexler in the 1970s, Tak Fujimoto shot Terrence Malick's acclaimed film Badlands in 1973. He then worked extensively with director Jonathan Demme on a series of films.
Fujimoto saw more success in the 1990s, winning a Boston Society of Film Critics Award and a BAFTA Award nomination for his work on The Silence of the Lambs (1991). He won a National Society of Film Critics Award in 1996 for Devil in a Blue Dress.IMDb: Tak Fujimoto Awards
Fujimoto is a current collaborative partner with director M. Night Shyamalan. Together, they have worked on The Sixth Sense, Signs and 2008's The Happening.
