Tahiti, the largest and most populated island in the Windward group of French Polynesia, is located in the southern Pacific Ocean. The Intercontinental Tahiti Resort (formerly Beachcomber) is a top-rated lodging option in Tahiti that offers great views of Moorea. The hotel has three types of accommodations, including basic rooms, suites and bungalows. There are 60 "Panoramic" rooms, 92 "Ocean View" rooms and 78 "Garden View" rooms. The bungalows come in two styles: the "Overwater Lagoon" and the smaller "Overwater Motu" bungalows.

The Hiti Moana Villa is one of the better values for a moderately-priced hotel, and it offers waterfront bungalows with views of the lagoon, ocean and garden. This hotel is also conveniently located close to popular activities on the island, such as kayaking, swimming and hiking.

Affordable lodging can be difficult to locate in Tahiti, but the Vanira Lodge offers nice accommodation options at a cheaper price than most. There are four bungalows, each able to sleep three to five people with views of the sea and park.
