This page contains videos of the Tabula Rasa mission called Patches to Ashes, a new level 48 instance included in the 1.6 Patch. The objective of the mission is to defeat a boss called "Patch," a robot who has become self-aware and plans to launch an attack against the AFS.

You can acquire the mission from Colonel Shayes inside the Ruins of Tampeii on Abyss. Once you have a acquired the quest, make your way past the lava fields to the area called "Patch's Lair."

The video begins with Jason Ford, a designer for Tabula Rasa, explaining the nature of the Patches to Ashes quest. The Camera pans through various areas around Abyss, while Ford explains how they updated the area called "Patches Lair," and how the new boss battle will require strategic and cooperative savvy. Ford describes why Patch is such a bad guy; because "Patch has brainwashed the local Brann, turning them into lunatics." The camera pans through Patch's lair, showing various battles, while Ford goes on to reveal that Patch has created several "defense programs" to do Patch's bidding. Ford describes how after you have destroyed the four firewalls protecting Patch, you will have 60 seconds to destroy Patch before he recovers and unleashes more defense programs. Depending on how quickly you defeat Patch, you can earn varying degrees of awards.
