Tabasco Sauce

Tabasco sauce is a brand of hot sauce distributed by McIlhenny Company. Tabasco sauce uses special chili peppers, vinegar and salt and the mixture is aged in white oak barrels for three years.

McIlheney started the company in 1868 and Tabasco is still a family owned business today. All the preparation is done in Avery Island, Louisiana from the gardening to the bottle. Each pepper is hand picked at just the right time.

Tabasco sauce is used as a condiment for many different foods where you want that hot spicy taste. There are are also several recipes that use a bit of Tabasco sauce.
