The lyrics of many their songs are politically driven. Chart topping hits of SOAD include "Chop Suey", "Aerials", and "B.Y.O.B".

The members of System of a Down are all of Armenian decent. The members include drummer, John Dolmayan, guitarist and songwriter Daron Malakian, bassist Shavo Odadjian and lead singer Serj Tankian. Former drummer Ontronik "Andy" Khachaturian left the band after a hand injury.Axis of Justice
