    Stallone was born on July 6, 1946 in New York City, New York State|New York and was raised in Northeast Philadelphia. Upon graduation, he attended the American College of Switzerland and the University of Miami where he earned a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. Stallone married Sasha Czack in 1974. They have two children together, Sage Moonblood and Seargeoh. The couple divorced in 1985. Later that year, Stallone married Brigitte Nielsen, but the couple divorced just two years later in 1987. Later that year, Stallone tried his hand at marriage again with model Jennifer Flavin. Stallone and Flavin have three children together, Sophia Rose, Sistine Rose, and Scarlet Rose.
  • Acting Career

    Stallone made his film debut with the Italian Stallion in 1970. He became famous six years later for the film he wrote and starred in titled Rocky. The film won an Academy Award for Best Picture. In 1979, Stallone starred in the sequel film Rocky II, which grossed $200 million. From there, he went on to play in the films First Blood, Rocky III, Rocky IV, Rambo: First Blood Part II, Rambo III, Rocky V, and Cliffhanger. His recent works include Driven, Spy Kids 3-D: Game Over, and Shade.
  • Human Growth Hormone Controversy

    Stallone was arrested on February 16, 2007, after being searched by Australian Customs officials and being found to possess 48 vials of Human Growth Hormone. On May 15, 2007, he plead guilty to the charge of importing a prohibited import and was ordered to pay $9,870 in fines and court costs. Stallone reportedly defended his growth hormone use by making the statement that testosterone was important for aging because it increases the quality of life.
