Career
The band was founded in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman, along with their friend Chad Butler. They started out on a Christian music label, but after Switchfoot's music was featured in the movie A Walk To Remember, the band gained mainstream recognition and a major label deal. They have released six studio albums, including their latest critically-acclaimed CD, Oh! Gravity.
