The Swine Flu map is a Google Maps application that flags each of the currently recorded instances of confirmed and unverified infections of the H1N1 "swine flu" influenza virus. The author, Google map user niman, doesn't list his sources, but the data on the outbreak is readily available from the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization websites.
A Larger Perspective
The influenza outbreak is of serious importance on a global scale. The Health Map illustrates all of the current disease outbreaks in the world.
