Sweatpants are a type of informal pants made from various types of material worn to keep warm or used during and after a work out.

The pants are loose and designed for casual comfort. Sweatpants are designed to be warm in cold weather, but also do not get too hot in warmer weather. Sweatpants are popular with athletic teams as well.
