    • Dealerships report that these vehicles have lost half of their previous resale value
    • Caused by concerns over rising fuel prices
    • SUV sales dropped 32.8 per cent in the first months of 2008
  • "SUV Graveyards" is a term coined to refer to used car lots, filled with SUV style cars, that cannot be sold, due to consumer concerns over rapidly rising gasoline prices.

Dealerships have reported that many once popular hybrids have lost nearly half their previous resale value, if they can be sold at all.

The large vehicles, including the Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Suburban, have, according to reports, been sitting on the dealership's lots since last summer.

Meanwhile, smaller cars have been selling faster than ever, often staying at the dealership for less than a week.
