Susan was born and raised in New York, and turned to the field of astrology after developing a childhood interest that was sparked by her mother's own astrological studies. A young Susan was laid up after leg surgery and devoted her attention to intense study of the stars and planets to pass the time. Susan would grow up to earn a business degree and pursue writing and begin a career in the business field. She wouldn't break into the professional filed of astrology though until 1996 when she wrote her first book, The Astrology Book of Days: An Illustrated Perpetual Calendar, which was published by Warner Books. This shortly led to the launch of her website, and the beginning of her business empire.http://www.dancewithshadows.com/society/susan-miller-astrologyzone.asp
