Susan Dey as an American television actress. She is best known for roles in two popular prime time television series.
She played the role of Laurie Partridge on the 1970's sitcom The Partridge Family, and then portrayed attorney Grace Van Owen on the 1980's drama L.A. Law.

Dey was born in as Susan Hallock Smith on December 10, 1952, in Pekin, Illinois. She has been married to Bernard Sofronski since 1988, and it is her second marriage.
