Survivor Tocantins Episode 7
- CBS Video: Survivor Tocantins Episode 6 (Time: 44:04)
- Eleven are left, who will be voted out tonight?
- At the Jalapao tribe, Taj feels bad for having to vote out another person. J.T.'s only concern about losing Spencer is being another man down at the merge.
- Sydney tells Joe of her concern of being the next to go. He reassures her and says she'll make it to the merge. (He wants to keep her because she's pretty.)
- It's day 16 at the Timbira camp, Debbie is frustrated with Coach for adding dirty river water to make mushy beans. He's frustrated with the rest of the crew for wanting to eat the bean before they are "fully cooked."
- There's a nasty storm coming in, rain is pouring down and adding water to the beans. After Coach added the water, he left them unattended and let them burn. Sierra was totally pissed. Sierra told Coach that if any of them had done the same thing, he'd be mad at them. Coach tried to turn the tables on her being sarcastic, wondering how long Sierra had wanted to say that. She suggests if he wants his beans cooked a different way, he should cook them separately. He can't believe such a big deal is being made about the beans. (Of course he doesn't think it's a big deal, he's making them all eat it the way he likes them.)
- Brendan doesn't think that Coach is playing smart, but is glad to have him around because "he's a predictable, and having a predictable player in this game is great."
- Back at Jalapao, they're eating nasty beans also. Taj wants to tell J.T. she has the idol, Stephen tries to convince her that it wouldn't be a smart move. Stephen really just doesn't want Taj and J.T. to make a connection, for fear he could be cut out of the loop.
- At the reward challenge, they will have 5 minutes to build a barricade inside a frame that will belong to the other tribe. You'll toss ceramic pigs through your own frame, full of the barricade the other team built. If it breaks, it doesn't count, if it breaks, it doesn't count. The tribe with the most pigs at the end of 10 minutes wins reward. This reward is a trip to a waterfall and a relaxing afternoon barbecue with refreshments. Of course, the winning tribe will send someone to exile.
- Erinn will sit out of the challenge, as the Timbira has one more member than Jalapao.
- They built the barricades, each team was spying on the other and taking ideas to better build them.
- Lots of broken pigs. Timbira is the first on the board.
- It's now 4-1, Timbira.
- Timbira's kicking butt, it's 6-1.
- 7-4 Timbira.
- 8-6 Timbira.
- 8-7 Timbira.
- Tied!
- Jalapao takes the lead, 10-9!
- It's neck and neck! One minute left!
- Tied 13-13 with 30 seconds left!
- Timbira wins reward! They choose to send Joe to exile. Joe chooses to take Erinn with him, she will not be able to take part in the reward. (He wants to see if she'll flip after the merge.)
- The Timbira tribe is totally pumped seeing the food reward. There's watermelon, chips, drinks, hamburgers and more. Brendan said the first bite of the burger was just like heaven. Debbie thinks they are all eating like animals, but doesn't care.
- After gorging themselves, they all decide to take a swim in the crystal clear water. Coach was happy Erinn wasn't here, because he doesn't want to go to the merge with her anyhow.
- At exile, Erinn chooses the urn with the clue. After some thought, she decides Joe could be a good ally, as she doesn't have any alliance with anyone in her current tribe. He wants them each to have an immunity idol and team up.
- Steven and Taj make a grand plan to make a fake idol, as they know Joe will be able to figure out where its supposed to be at. Taj took the idol out of Steven's bag, "just to see what it looks like."
- The fake idol is in position! Taj then put the real idol back in Steven's bag. But wait! J.T. just happened to look in Steven's bag and discovered the idol!
- J.T. instantly confronts Steven, Steven tells him that Taj just now found it and is totally playing it off.
- Steven is trying to get Taj to tell J.T. she found the idol. She decides to show him, and she acts like she just found it and is excited to share it with him, even telling him "if you need it, you can have it." J.T's totally falling for it and hopes she'll keep her promise. Taj makes them all hold hands and say "we're all going to the merge." (Man, I wanted a huge argument and J.T. tell everyone that Taj and Steven have the idol!)
- At the immunity challenge, Erinn and Joe return to their tribes. For today's challenge, each tribe will use a slingshot in an attempt to break a tile which will release sand and another tile, along with a bag filled with puzzle pieces. First tribe to hit all 6 tiles and 6 bags will have to solve a puzzle. First team to solve the puzzle wins.
- Tyson is the first to break a tile for Timbira. His tribe asks him to keep shooting. J.T. struggles, but it's now tied again.
- J.T. was asked to shoot again also.
- Tyler makes easy work of the tiles, Timbira is now working on the puzzle. J.T. is struggling, they are a few minutes behind Timbira in starting their puzzle.
- Jalapao is gaining in the puzzle round, but no dice. Timbira wins immunity. J.T. says "my bad guys." Taj tells him not to worry.
- Sydney is again worried that she'll be voted out instead of Taj.
- None of the tribe is blaming J.T. for losing the challenge because he gives his all at every challenge. They notice J.T. has a pretty nasty cut on his leg that's getting infected. J.T. brushes it off like it's nothing. They ask Joe if he got the clue, he told them that Erinn found it and she wouldn't give up any information.
- Joe gets a chance to break away from the tribe and instantly finds the fake immunity idol! He totally buys it.
- Back at camp, Joe goes to each member and asks them to vote out Taj. They all agree, but J.T. doesn't look happy about it. Sydney doesn't think Taj will stab people in the backs or talk crap to save herself.
- Taj doesn't think she'll go home tonight.
- J.T. and Steven talk about trying to concoct a plan to keep Taj. Steven tells Joe that Taj has a connection with Brendan and Sierra on the other tribe, and that Joe could be in a good position if he would align with Taj. Joe's not falling for it, he tells Steven and J.T. that he's already promised Sydney that she'll go to the merge and he wants to honor his word.
- After Joe leaves the two boys, he says to himself that he'll give the immunity idol to Sydney to prove a point.
- J.T. and Steven are talking about who actually has possession of the idol, J.T.'s eyes light up when he realizes Steven has it, not Taj.
- At tribal counsel, Steven says talk of a merge is looming because of their numbers. Joe says that tonights vote is based on trust, he has to trust people going into the merge. Taj doesn't think that people don't trust her, she thinks she may be valuable in getting a few people on the other side to join up with them. J.T.'s worried Taj may flip that and flip over to their side. Sydney says she brings loyalty to the tribe, unlike Taj.
- Time to vote.
- Joe votes for Taj.
- Taj votes for Sydney.
- No more votes shown.
- No one plays the hidden immunity idol.
- First vote: Sydney
- Second vote: Taj
- Third vote: Taj
- Fourth vote: Syndey
- Fifth vote: Sydney
- Sydney has been voted off.
- Next week, they'll merge! Jalapao tries to find a way to stay in the game.
