Survivor Tocantins Episode 6
- CBS Video: Survivor Tocantins Episode 6 (Time: 42:55)
- Eleven are left, no one will be voted out tonight. Time for extras and never seen before behind-the-scenes footage. (I'm mad, first they skipped last week, now we get old footage?)
- Quick recap of each contestant who was voted out, along with who wanted them to leave.
- As the Survivors arrived in Tocantins, Brendan said that he tried to not create first impressions about the other contestants. Debbie thought Sierra didn't want to be there, but Sierra was sick. Tyson originally thought that Coach looked like a cross between Steven Seagal and one of the Last of the Mohicans.
- On day two in the Timbira camp, they show Tyler and Debbie fishing with a burlap bag. They catch one tiny little minnow, about the size of a paperclip. Debbie freaked out as she chewed it. Tyler is having a hard time eating a funky fruit, he says it sucks all the saliva out of your mouth. Sierra and Jerry are making "nasty-face" as they try to eat it also.
- On day seven at Jalapao, they lost their fire. Steven tried his hardest to make fire, Sydney thought it was funny that he wasn't even able to create a spark. After Joe tried for a while, Sydney jumped right in and got a fire immediately. Steven said that Sydney is a "woodlands goddess, and that's why she's a threat to me."
- Few more clips of Tyson dancing around camp naked. He's one strange cookie. Coach said that he's attracted to Tyson, "but not in a sexual way." Tyson wonders if he'll be disowned by his church when he gets home and thinks he may have to move somewhere "less Morman-y."
- Sierra and Coach went head-to-head about chores. Coach doesn't think Sierra should have to have someone hold her hand while each person does their chores. She turns the table on him by asking Coach what the rest of the tribe will be doing while she works, he replies that 4 of them will go fishing. (What, she has to do her stuff alone but he gets a group of 4 to fish?)
- While alone, Coach tells Sierra that he wants to see her grow as a person because he feels she's capable of so much more. She takes kindly to his words and they hug.
- Sydney and JT devised a plan to lift their shelter off the floor, as the whole tribe is tired of living in ash created by the fire. They start the work, but ignore Steven when he asks what he can do to help. After Syndey finally acknowledges him, Steven stumbles around and messes a few boards up. Not much of a help, but at least he tried.
- Brendan and Coach had a bench making contest. It's total male bondage here. Debbie thinks everything should be a contest; who can get the most firewood to camp, who can get the water back to camp the fastest.
- By day 8, Taj got fed up with all the bug bites and being dirty all the time. She started crying, saying "I feel ugly." Steven looked at her and said "oh God, oh God" then hugged her. (Like he didn't know what to do or say to a crying woman?)
- At the Timbira camp, Coach is trying to freak Debbie out telling her that there are snakes slithering underneath the shelter and reminds her the contestants invaded the home of the snakes.
- Joe and JT are playing baseball with a stick and something else.. Spit balls? Bits of fruit? Ew.
- Joe says that for now, he and JT are OK, but playing totally different games. Joe says he's playing more of a social game, where he thinks JT is playing more of the provider.
- Coach composed music for his tribe, singing to the music and being all weird.
- JT has taken in Steven as a sidekick, but Steven isn't 100% sure he trusts JT. They've made a deal for final three already. Later that same day, Brendan chose Steven to go with him to exile. Brendan wrapped a snakeskin around Steven's neck like a scarf, to which Steven said "now, I look pretty." Brendan's doing all he can to earn Steven's trust because of their 4-way alliance. Awww! As they slept, they spooned! How cute! Steven "never could have dream sleeping next to a hunk of man." Brendan said it was a great bonding experience.
- Next week, Timbira will turn on Coach. Jalapao turns on each other, they think the tribes are ready to merge.
