Survivor Tocantins Episode 4
- CBS Video: Survivor Tocantins Episode 4 (Time: 43:06)
- Thirteen are left, who will be voted out tonight?
- Timbira, night 9.
- After tribal council, Coach brings up the argument with Erinn in a private taping. He admits that when Erinn said that Brendan was a better leader that it pissed him off.
- The next morning, Brendan asks for a pow-wow. Brendan asks for everyone to decide on a leader, to make the decision and be done with it. (Tyson isn't sure who was elected last night.)
- Coach says that he trusts Brendan being the leader right now, but if he got voted off Coach would then step up. Everyone agrees. Erinn steps up and says that she didn't mean to sound so harsh last night when she talked about Coach not being a good leader. (Coach is very clearly bitter still though, everything he says is rich with sarcasm.)
- I'll have you know that it takes all I have not to call the Jalapao the Jalapeno tribe.
- Anyway, at tribe J's camp the morning after tribal, they are just waking up. Spencer is concerned that Taj is alone at exile with no food and water.
- Taj wants to talk with Stephen away from everyone else. She brings him out to the boondocks and tells him about her relationship with Brendan. Taj wants him to join a 4-way alliance including Taj, Stephan, Brendan and Sierra. Stephen is totally excited to be a part of this!
- Brendan hasn't told Sierra about the plan yet, this may cause a disaster.
- Time for the tribal challenge.
- For today's challenge, three members of each tribe will hold a pole across their shoulders. Each round, more weight will be added to the poles. The decision about which tribe member gets the weight will be made by the remaining members of the opposing tribe. Last person standing wins reward for the rest of their tribe. Each tribe must pick two men and one woman to be the pole-bearers.
- They are playing for a camp raid, two members of the winning tribe will be able to go to the other's camp and steal any two items. Plus the exile thing.
- For Timbira, Deborah, Tyson and Brendan will carry the poles.
- For Jalapao, Joe, Taj and JT.
- Sierra, Spencer and Stephen will sit out of their respective tribes.
- Joe and Brendan each have weight on.
- Joe looks like he's in a bind already.
- JT and Tyson are next to get weight.
- Brendan gets more weight, Taj gets her first.
- Tons of weights being added left and right now.
- These dudes have some serious weight on their shoulders. Brendan's up to 200 pounds, and he's looking rough. Rupert held the previous title in this challenge at 220 lbs. Brendan drops the pole and doesn't match the record.
- JT is now at 200 pounds.
- Tyson is up to 120 pounds.
- JT is up to 220. He's looking firm and focused.
- Tyson ditches his pole after he is at 140 pounds.
- Deborah is the last remaining member of Timbira.
- JT is suddenly out, but was able to match Rupert's record. (Remember Rupert? The pirate shoe-stealer!)
- Joe is suddenly out also.
- It's up to the women! It's Taj against Deborah!
- Both women are at 80 pounds.
- Deborah drops at 100 pounds, Jalapao wins! Taj rushes over to give Deborah a hug saying "you did a hell of a job!"
- Tribe J sends Sierra to exile, but since Sierra doesn't know about the plan - she turns around and chooses Taj again!
- Coach is worried the other tribe will take the food supply. Timbira is going to try and convince JT and Joe to take something other than the beans.
- JT wants to take one sack of beans and leave one, Joe agrees. They take the watering can as their second item.
- Upon their return, Sandra doesn't understand why the boys didn't take both bags of beans.
- As they are being cooked, Sandra wants to know what kinds of beans they are. Everyone's rolling their eyes as Sandra called them "fartin beans." She's starting to get under people's skin.
- Joe tells Syndey in front of the tribe that she's the hottest Survivor this season. Sandra wants Sydney to be gone because she's too involved and flirty with the boys.
- At exile, Taj chooses the urn with the clue. She finally understands where the hidden immunity idol is.
- Taj is amazed that Sierra doesn't know about the secret plan, but decides to fill her in. Sierra stops and says "I just got goosebumps" as she listens to Taj explain the foursome. Sierra is all for it and thrilled!
- At Timbira, Deborah says they need a day of play to bring camp spirits back up.
- Tyson is wearing nothing but a loin-cloth made out of his buff. His booty is hanging out while he does a caveman dance. Erinn is the only one not smiling.
- In a private taping, Erinn says that she was in a horrible break-up before she came out here and knows that she's not being very personable.
- Tyson doesn't want to get to know her and can't wait to watch her freak out when she gets voted out.
- The tribes meet for the challenge. Sierra and Taj return to their respective tribes.
- One tribe member at a time will race out and retrieve a puzzle piece and return it. Their paths intersect with the other tribes at different points. Once all eight pieces of the puzzle are returned to the start, the pieces must be rotated in a frame to reveal the letters that form the winning phrase.
- Jalapao must sit one member out. Taj tells them that she can't run, her tribe agrees that she'll sit out.
- Coach and Joe go first, Joe gives his tribe a huge lead.
- Tribe J is kicking major butt so far. No one has crashed into each other. No fun.
- Timbira is now in the lead as Sydney couldn't undo the knots on her puzzle piece.
- It's so close now! Timbira is barely ahead!
- Tough puzzle, everyone can get a few words in the phrase, but not all.
- Stephen looks over at the other tribe's puzzle and is able to catch a few words he didn't see in his own team's puzzle.
- Timbira wins immunity! Wow, and we don't even hardly know the members of Tribe J. Not cool.
- After they all head back to their camps, Taj makes her way toward the hidden immunity idol.
- Joe tells Sydney that he wants to get rid of Sandy.
- Taj tells JT, Stephen and Sandy that Syndey isn't stronger than Sandy in the challenges and that Sydney is only eye candy.
- Sandy isn't sure if she feels safe or not.
- JT has no clue what he wants to do.
- After Syndey asked Stephen what he liked about this game, she admitted that she likes the "sneakiness" of the game. All eyes go towards her.
- At tribal council, Jeff asks if Sandy has recovered from the first impression vote she received. Sandy replies that she fits in with the tribe and it makes her feel good. JT says that Sandy is the mother of the crowd. Sandy brings up that Sydney is flirting with everyone and wearing JT's boxers. Sydney defends herself saying "but it's hot out there, all I have is jeans." Joe pipes in and mentions that he sees the flirting going on.
- Steven says that Syndey and Joe flirt more than anyone else here.
- Taj says that men will be attracted to Sydney because she's beautiful and that the men will align with her because they would rather see Sydney. After Taj says that she's ok with that, Jeff Probst calls Taj out saying "I don't believe that for a second that it's ok." Taj says she'll be ok without the attraction of the men.
- Joe is up to vote first.
- Votes revealed:
- Sydney votes for Sandy.
- Sandy votes of Sydney. (Big surprise there.)
- Those were the only votes revealed.
- First vote: Sandy
- Second vote: Sydney
- Third vote: Joe
- Fourth vote: Sandy
- Fifth vote: Sandy
- Sixth vote: Sandy
- Sandy is the fourth person voted off of Survivor Tocantins.
- (Who voted for Joe?)
- Next week on Survivor Coach tells his tribe that he feels Brendan is trying to build a bond with the other tribe. Taj goes nuts and tells everyone to "kiss her ass."
