Survivor Heroes vs Villains

The contestants are dropped in a remote location and split into two different competing tribes on the first episode. The tribes go head to head in challenges each week for rewards and immunity. The losing tribe goes to tribal council and meets with host Jeff Probst where they must vote out one of their own tribe members. Somewhere around the midpoint of the season, the tribes merge to form one large tribe. Individual immunity is the only guarantee of not being voted off. In certain seasons, there have been hidden immunity idols around the idol and the player can present the idol at tribal council before the votes are cast in order to be valid. In the finale, the final two contestants face the eliminated contestants as they decide who is the ultimate survivor. Some seasons actually have a final three. The winner is awarded 1 Million dollars and the runner up receives $100,000. In recent seasons CBS has asked TV voters to vote for there favorite player and the winner is given a monetary award during the live finale.

This season Survivor Heroes vs. Villains is made up of past survivors who have been heroic and are amongst the favorite players from the past 20 seasons as well as some of the most evil and ruthless players to date. This is an All Stars epic battle that will pit good versus evil for the ultimate title of Survivor.

Finale and Reunion Recap

Russell was upset that Sandra played an idol that he didn’t know about. He thought it was a bad play and then he went after Parvati saying that he thought she knew about the idol. There was talk between Colby and Jerri about taking Parvati out at this point.

Parvati won the first challenge of the night. Sandra was the first person out of the challenge that required the survivors to balance dishes on top of each other. Jerri was out next and then Russell followed shortly. Colby’s plates dropped at 17 dishes leaving only Parvati.

In the overview of the Final 5, Jeff noted that Parvati has played the longest amount of days out of any other survivor in the history of the show – 114 days. Will she win again?

After the challenge it seemed like Colby was surrendering and saying that he just wanted to enjoy the day but 30 minutes later he approached Russell to work with him to vote out Sandra and Russell seemed to consider it. But at tribal council even though Colby tried to sway Russell to vote with him it didn’t work but Jeff got all of the villains to admit that none of them trusted each other which we all already knew.

Colby was the 16th person voted out. So it is official that it will be a villain that will win Survivor Heroes vs. Villians

The Survivors went on the traditional memory lane walk of all the past survivors in the order that they were voted out and we got to see clips from our old favorites like Boston Rob.

In the final challenge the survivors were blind folded and had to feel their way around an obstacle course. Russell took an early lead, then Jerri shot to the front and Sandra was in last place. Russell and Parvati both got their 4th necklace at the end and were racing to the end. Jerri got her 4th necklace shortly after and it was anyone’s game. Russell grabbed immunity right before Jerri and Parvati got there. It was extremely close and may have been the closest finish. Jeff stated that it was the most dramatic finish ever especially in a final challenge. This secured Russell’s spot in the top 3.

Russell had to decide who to take with him to the end and he had to give it a lot of thought and convince the others to vote along with him. Everyone pled their case at tribal. Sandra played the “I can’t win card,” Jerri said “Get rid of Parvati because she is a threat.” And Parvati asked that Russell stay loyal to her since she had been protecting him this whole game. He disagreed with this statement saying that he had been protecting her. They bicker like an old married couple. In a shocking move Jerri was voted out. She was just as dumbfounded as everyone else telling Russell that “I can’t wait to hear this story later.”

Jerri stated in her exiting statement that she was leaning toward voting for Russell since he has played such a smart and strategic game and that his decisions make the most sense to her.

And there were only 3 left.

Sandra burned Russell’s hat as payback for everything he has done in this game. Sandra wants to make sure he doesn’t win this game in the jury.

Jury consisted of the following Survivors: Coach JT Candice Rupert Jerri Amanda Courtney Colby Danielle

Final Three: Parvati, Russell, Sandra

Opening Statements by Final 3 to the Jury

Sandra – “I had to make sure I kept my torch lit each tribal council and I did that all by myself.” She admitted to trying to get rid of Russell 3 different times after the merge but that the Heroes didn’t follow her lead.

Russell – “It’s not a game of luck. I played the game as hard as I could.” He apologized if he offended anyone but he played the game. That got a lot of raised eyebrows from the jury.

Parvati – “I didn’t realize the threat I was coming into the game so I had to line up defenses to help keep me in the game. I kept Russell as my pet.” (That was the best line of the night)

Jury Question Highlights

Coach stated that he would be listening and watching but hadn’t decided yet. He stated that he will be taking this responsibility very seriously.

Amanda – Wanted to know from Sandra “How was your strategy better than Russell and Parvati?”

Courtney – stated that she was proud of Parvati and that Sandra “is my girl – fist pump” To Sandra “I want to give you a chance to highlight your loyalty.” So Sandra got to talk to the jury about how loyal she is and how she has her alliance’s back in the game.

JT – talked to Russell about how he played the game and Russell responded “I hope the jury will respect the way I played the game”

Danielle – to Russell – “Would you change anything about your game?” “I wouldn’t change anything and I don’t regret it.”

Jerri – “I’m 100% undecided who to vote for.” She wanted to know the details about her getting voted out. Russell stated that he realized after winning immunity that it would be a bad strategic move to take Jerri so that made his mind up but he didn’t share this information with her before the vote. Parvati stepped in and corrected him and said that he voted Jerri out because he knew that he would have her vote on the jury no matter what. You could tell that Jerri definitely made her mind up at that point not to vote for Russell.

Candice – Directed to Russell, “you hurt people telling lies and you crossed a line.” She called Parvati out for playing under Russell’s thumb like an abused spouse. She is basing her vote on how they treated people in the game.

Rupert – Directed to Russell “To be honest in this game is hard and to be manipulative and deceptive is easy in this game. You took the easy way out.” Rupert stated that he regretted not voting with Sandra since she was on board to take Russell out the entire time He stated that Parvati was impressive in the challenges and that she should be proud of working so hard physically.

Who they showed voting for before the break: Jerri was perplexed about who to vote for but she ended up writing Parvati’s name down, Candice voted for Sandra, Danielle voted for Parvati, Courntey voted for Sandra (shocker right?), Coach voted for Parvait. Rupert voted for Sandra. So going into the reveal we are tied at Parvati and Sandra 3 votes each. Looks like Russell got shut out

And the WINNER of Survivor Heroes Versus Villians is: Sandra with at least 5 votes. Jeff didn’t read the last one.

Reunion:

Russell voiced his dismay over losing AGAIN and he got all worked up as usual. He doesn’t understand how Sandra can win the game when she has never won a challenge and is one of the weakest players physically to ever play the game. Jeff tried to ask Russell about whether he ever thinks about trying to win votes on the jury but Russell couldn’t ever answer directly. Boston Rob suggested that Russell just plays as hard as he can to get to the end but he doesn’t actually play to win. Boston Rob stated that he always plays to win and that he could come back and really mop the floor with Russell. Sounds like a good idea for a future season right Rob vs. Russell

Jeff announced that Sandra is the first person to win 2 titles of Survivor and he asked whether they thought that made her the best to EVER play this game. Russell argued that America should have a percentage of the vote because he thinks there is a huge flaw in the game. And Jeff responded that the rules of Survivor are clearly stated and will not change and he suggested that Russell play another game if he wants the rules to be different.

Russell won the America’s Vote for Fan favorite winner “Player of the Season”. He won $100,000 for that title

Jeff also announced that Colby is the record holder for the most wins of challenges with 7 wins and Parvati is tied for 2nd for overall immunity wins. It’s hard to believe that Colby holds that title after his poor performance this season.

Winner of Dumbest Move in Survivor History – OF COURSE it goes to JT for giving Russell his idol and getting voted out with his very own idol. This move may never be topped.

Next season of Survivor will be in Nicaragua in Central America with smoldering volcanoes and savaging wildlife. They promise all new contestants and exciting and innovative challenges.

Episode 13 Recap “Loose Lips Sink Ships”

At the beginning of the episode Parvati seemed confused since she thought that Rupert was going home at the last tribal council. She told Russell that she wasn’t sure that she wouldn’t be voted off next. This confused Russell because he just can’t seem to understand why she would feel threatened haha! Taking out someone’s closet ally might raise suspicion or paranoia.

The survivors got to play with their loved ones for reward which was more time with their loved ones. Jerri and her sister won the challenge and she chose to take Parvati and her dad on the reward and Jerri even asked to take another pair and Jeff obliged. She chose Sandra and her uncle. This decision upset Russell to no end prompting him to say to his wife “She screwed up.” Something tells me that Russell isn’t going to let this go easily.

Jerri was concerned that Russell would take it out on her but Parvati and Sandra promised her that they would have her back and that they would protect her from Russell’s wrath.

Back at camp Russell goes on and on about Jerri’s “bad strategic move” to Rupert and Colby, stating “I hope that the burger tastes like a million dollar burger because it was a million dollar decision.” Russell made a deal with Colby and Rupert to go to the final 3 and he noted that he wanted to vote out Parvati next if she didn’t win immunity. Russell felt he could control Jerri the most and that he could easily bring her along with the 3 guys.

Rupert pissed the camp off when he decided to break wood, chop firewood and move things around camp in the middle of the night while everyone was trying to get some sleep. It’s never a good move to be the one who causes sleep deprivation on survivor because that is one of the easiest ways to make fast enemies.

At the immunity challenge Colby was out in the first 15 seconds as usual. Didn’t he promise several weeks ago that he was going to start performing in challenges and start living up to his potential? Time is running out on that promise. Sandra was out next and Russell didn’t hold on much longer. Again it came down to Rupert and Parvati for the win. It looked like it could be anyone’s game for a while with both survivors hanging on by a thread in the final few minutes. Parvati won immunity again – this is getting old!

Since Russell’s plan was to vote out Parvati, her winning immunity spoiled those plans and he felt that he had to go back to the girls and sell out the boys. Sandra told Rupert that she wanted Russell out but Rupert (trying to win Russell’s trust) passed this information on to Russell leading him to then confront her with his trademark saying “Are you with me or against me?” For a second it looked like she was going to square off against Russell as she responded “I’m against you Russell.” Unfortunately she laughed it off as if she had been teasing him the whole time. He didn’t like being laughed at though by her and Parvati. He then accused the girls of drinking because they were making stupid decisions. Chaos was breaking out again at camp with the villains disagreeing and in Jerri’s words “the camp is turning into crazy town.”

Sandra was so confident that she would be safe that she was toying with the idea that she wouldn’t use the idol even though it was the last chance to use it. However, at tribal Sandra stood up before Jeff even finished the statement asking for the hidden immunity idol. Everyone seemed surprised because she had kept it a secret from everyone even her alliance. She told the group that she thought she wasn’t going to use it but that she got a bad vibe with all the talk about her at tribal council from Russell. In the end it didn’t matter that she used the idol because she only had 2 votes for her and Rupert had 4 votes making him the next to go. Ah Rupert. We thought the 3rd time might be the charm but it wasn’t meant to be. In his castoff speech he noted “I don’t need to win this game to know that I’m a winner!!” There’s our Mr. Positivity. How could anyone not like him?

The finale of Survivor will air this Sunday, May 16th. Who will win the title – Russell, Jerri, Colby, Sandra or Parvati?

Episode 12 Recap “A Sinking Ship”

This was the best episode yet!!!

The Heroes now know that Candice double crossed them and they are UPSET!

Rupert confronted Russell about swearing on his kids’ lives. He thinks he is worse than Johnny Fairplay. He may be as evil but he isn’t as annoying as Johnny. Russell’s reply was “I’m a villain and I’m here just to make your life hell. I don’t give a F*** about you – the great powerful Rupert; the good guy; the second coming of Christ. You are such a dumbass Rupert.” Is it really that necessary to insult each other at this point?

In this episode there were two immunity challenges and two tribal councils to vote out two survivors. Within 1 minute of the beginning of the first challenge Russell and Sandra dropped out in order to share cookies and milk and Colby dropped out to eat 4 donuts and a shake. Does nobody want immunity anymore? I can understand the others giving up but Russell really? That doesn’t seem right. He doesn’t give up without a fight usually and for him there is usually nothing more valuable than security in the game. That seems so much more valuable than food. Candice, Danielle and Jerri all stepped out at the same time to enjoy peanut butter and jelly sandwiches because they felt assured that Parvati would last. Rupert tried to hang on against Parvati but a loss of balance cost him the immunity leaving Parvati to win this challenge again. After the challenge Jeff read the next clue to the immunity idol. Is it just me or has this season seen the most hidden immunity idols ever?

The survivors ran back to look for the idol like madmen. Sandra found the idol pretty easily and hid it in her pocket before anybody spotted her with it. Rupert pretended he had an idol in his pocket and Russell thought he spotted it because he says he knows exactly how they look and he is convinced he is right.

The villains talk about splitting the votes between either Colby or Rupert and Candice because they want to flush out the idol.

At the first tribal council Rupert played off like he had the idol without really telling a lie. Colby stated that he didn’t respect Candice for her decision or her reasons that she stated for her betrayal. It was 3 votes Rupert and 5 for Candice and she was voted out. Guess karma came back to bite her in the end. It was her willingness to flip that made her a target by both alliances. Jeff said it perfectly “It is a risky move when you betray trust in order to gain trust.” In her exit speech she said she felt like she was thrown under the bus tonight but she doesn’t see that she caused this herself so she actually threw herself under the bus.

Immediately back at camp Russell regretted their decision not to vote either Rupert or Colby out but the girls disagreed with him and he started to realize that he doesn’t have full control of this game. He thinks Parvati has at least an equal share of the power and he stated that he is going to take control of this game so fast that they won’t even know what hit them and he delivered on that tonight. He thinks the girls let their heart get in the way.

At the 2nd immunity challenge Rupert started off with an early lead and advanced to the next round. Russell, Parvati and Rupert were in the final round and Russell dominated the last two rounds and won immunity. Poor Rupert felt disappointed and thought he was surely the next one to go home.

Russell sees Danielle as a threat because he doesn’t like how close Parvati and Danielle have become and he thinks it should be him and Parvati as the King and Queen of Survivor. Russell started trying to break up Parvati and Danielle by telling Parvati that Danielle came up to him to ask him about knocking off Parvati first and blindsiding her. But when he reveals this to Parvati she doesn’t believe it and she stated that she wants to discuss this with Danielle and get the truth out in the open. Russell, knowing that this would out him as a liar, told Parvati that if she did that it would end her game. Parvati doesn’t like being told what to do and this probably made her that much more suspicious of Russell than she already was. What happened as a result of this was total chaos and scrambling at camp that rivaled anything seen on Survivor. Jerri was being told to vote off Danielle by Russell and the girls made Jerri promise that she would stick with them and vote off Rupert. Russell went to Colby and Rupert and told them to vote out Danielle which gave them some hope that they could stay in this game so of course they were on board for this last minute switch. Russell thinks that if he votes out Danielle that Parvati would “Be so scared of me that she would stick to me like glue and she would vote how I tell her to vote.’ Sure. Keep thinking that way. Russell told Jerri that if she didn’t vote with him that she would be gone next and that it wouldn’t be him but that it would be Parvati and Danielle that would get rid of her. So apparently Jerri will be the pivotal vote tonight.

At tribal council Russell lied in front of everyone saying that Danielle wanted to get Parvati out.

And this caused Danielle to have an emotional breakdown in front of everyone. She ended up saying “I’m closer to Parvati than you think.” And that was it. That was what he needed in order to convince Jerri to vote Danielle out. That statement right there could have been the very thing that caused her to be voted out. Danielle was the 14th person voted out of Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains and Rupert was spared for the second time in a row. In response to Danielle being voted out Parvati looked at Russell and said “That’s messed up.” I have a feeling their alliance is a thing of the past. Get ready for these two power players to face off against each other.

The next episode showed Russell joining forces with the Heroes and it looks like it will be guys versus girls for this next stage of the game.

Episode 11 Recap “Jumping Ship”

As the episode opened, Russell was questioning Parvati about having two idols in secret. It appears that Parvati is running the show more than he thought. He was not too happy about her taking his idol so willingly last week when she already had another one for herself in secret.

Russell started immediately working on flipping Candice to his side with the Villains. He feels Sandra is possibly flipping so he was scrambling to secure enough votes to have the majority.

Danielle, Amanda and Colby won the reward challenge and Danielle found the clue to the hidden immunity idol in a bowl of popcorn and quickly tried to hide it by placing it under the bed but Amanda was watching her like a hawk and didn’t miss her not so subtle attempt to cover up her discovery. Amanda swooped over and tried to steal it right from under Danielle all while Colby was cluelessly watching the movie that they won on reward. So a fight ensued over whose clue it was since Danielle saw it first but Amanda actually had it in her hands at that moment. In the end Amanda gave it back over to Danielle after Colby weighed in and said he thought Danielle had first dibs. That was a move that Amanda regretted almost immediately. It seemed quite painful for her to hand it back over.

Back at the camp Danielle shared the clue to the hidden idol with her alliance and they all helped to look for it. Of course Russell found it first but didn’t tell Danielle or Parvati since they kept it a secret last week when they did the same. Russell is the self proclaimed King of Hidden Immunity Idols which seems to be true. It’s like they just gravitate to him. Has he ever not found an idol that he had a clue for? I mean he doesn’t even need clues since he has found like 4 without them. It’s getting unbelievable at this point.

Russell showed Candice the idol to try to build her trust to make her feel more secure with the Villains. She was not sure at that time what side to align with since she doesn’t trust anyone in either alliance right now. She seems the most likely to flip.

This episode consisted mainly of Sandra talking about making her move to switch to the Heroes to try to get Russell out but at the time they didn’t know he had the idol this week. They were assuming that Danielle had it since she found the clue which made their vote tricky because they had to predict who found the idol and also determine if they thought that person would give it to someone else in their alliance. They don’t want to make that mistake again – it was just last week when Parvati made one of the best moves in Survivor history by giving away both her idols to save two individuals in her alliance which cost JT his chance to stay in the game. That will be on everyone’s mind for a while. Even the Heroes couldn’t deny how good a play that was. Some of them were still scratching their heads over the last tribal council including JT. He still seemed in disbelief as he walked in with the jury tonight. He just shook his head as he looked over at the remaining contestants and is probably still kicking himself for being ousted with his own idol.

In a very tight immunity challenge Jerry won her very first immunity idol securing her a spot in the top 8. She beat Russell by a few seconds as they were building a house of cards over 9 feet tall. No one else was even close.

Russell targeted Amanda almost immediately to vote out at tribal council stating, “She’s like Boston Rob in a girl’s body because she is an aggressive and strategic player.” Makes you miss Boston Rob doesn’t it? Sure would be nice if he had made it to the jury so that we could see his face every week instead of having to watch Courtney’s sarcastic facial expressions from the jury seats.

There was a lot of scrambling at camp and it was hard to follow who was voting for whom and with what alliance. Candice ended up ruining the Heroes plan to take out a power player on the Villains side. The Heroes plus Sandra were set to vote out Russell until they thought that someone might give him the idol. Then Candice told Russell that Sandra was voting with the Heroes and the plan fell apart when he confronted her about what he heard. Later, Candice told Sandra that she felt like she had to vote with the Villains since they had an idol.

The talk at tribal council clearly showed that Sandra was not included in the Villains group, which made it that much more of a surprise that she ended up voting with them. She must have sensed that Candice was absolutely not going to change her mind on her new alliance with the Villains so she didn’t want to rock the boat with Russell until she absolutely has to. She is looking for the right time to make her move to take Russell out which is something that she said she has been secretly waiting to do for the past 30 days. If she is going to actually make good on that move she better do it quickly. It seems like they always wait too late to take out the power players and before you know it they are in the finals. They still haven’t learned to take them out early.

Russell ended up using his idol thinking that he would be targeted but Amanda was voted out over Parvati and Russell’s name was not written down at all. Afterwards Parvati told Russell that he wasted an idol as she rolled her eyes in disgust. That should make for a great conversation on next week’s episode. It is like they are an old married couple.

The previews showed the Villains turning on each other as tension rises between Parvati and Russell. Who else thinks that it would be highly entertaining if Russell and Parvati were to make it to the final two together? Can you just imagine those speeches to the jury and just think of how they would turn on each other in the end. Things are really heating up this season making it one of the most explosive and possibly most unpredictable seasons yet.

Episode 10 Recap “Going Down in Flames”

The Merge is finally here and everyone on both sides seems to be happy and excited about the merge.

Russell and Parvati hatched a plan before the merge to tell the Heroes that Parvati and Russell used their immunity idols at the same time in their last tribal council so that the Heroes think that they can still trust Russell since the Heroes are expecting him to have gotten her voted out last week. Of course they forgot that Sandra isn’t loyal to them and that she could easily tell the Heroes that Russell is lying and that he and Parvati are running the game together.

It was priceless to see the look on the Heroes faces when they saw Parvati leading the Villains over to their camp at the merge. But JT didn’t second guess it. It still believes that Russell is solid and JT said that it must have meant that Parvati had an idol and used it to save herself. He doesn’t even think for a second that Russell could be playing him. This seems like a very different JT than we are used to seeing. Was he this dumb on his season? Seemed like he had more sense in the past.

Sandra quickly tells Rupert that Russell can’t be trusted and that he is in charge of their alliance and that Parvati is his right hand woman. Rupert believes Sandra but when he tells the rest of his alliance they dismiss him as paranoid and JT even tells us that this is exactly why he has had to make all of Rupert’s decisions (strategical play according to JT) for him in this game but what JT doesn’t realize is that Rupert is the only one of them that has it right. This is going to really haunt JT afterwards when he has to watch this season over again.

After the merge Parvati was feeling left out. She senses that she is not welcome by the Heroes and this annoys her. She and Amanda have a reunion in the woods and talk strategy but Amanda tells us that she is just trying to let Parvati think that she can trust her and that she was just pumping her for information.

The new tribe name is Yin Yang – Good versus Evil. Seems appropriate.

Colby and Sandra were out in the immunity challenge within a minute. Survivors had to hold onto a pole for as long as they could with very little space to rest their toes. Danielle won the first individual immunity idol as she and Parvati were the last two left and Parvati stepped down in order to let Danielle win since she already has an idol to protect her.

When Parvati stepped down Rupert was very suspicious about why she would step down leaving herself vulnerable at tribal council when she was clearly able to last much longer in the challenge and could have easily won. This was a red flag to anyone really paying attention. So the Heroes plan to tell Russell that they are voting for Parvati and tell him to do the same and then they will really write down either Sandra or Jerri’s name. They see this as a test to see who Russell is really aligned with based on who he votes out.

Russell gave Parvati his idol to keep her safe without knowing that she had an idol of her own. It was then that Parvati said to the camera that she now sees that she is the most dangerous person in the game. Parvati talked to Amanda to get a feel for who the Heroes might be voting for and even though Amanda said that Parvati needed to use the idol, Parvati felt that she was lying and felt comfortable not using it for herself. She was pretty confident that they would write down someone else’s name.

When voting the Heroes said to the camera that they picked Jerri to vote out because she was the least likely to be given an idol secretly by Russell or Parvati and boy were they very, very wrong. Parvati gave 1 idol to Sandra and the other to Jerri saving both from the vote. It was a first in Survivor history. No one has ever given away two idols in one council before. Jeff commented that it was one of the craziest moves ever played in the game and he wasn’t kidding. It was a smart move for the Villains though because this move saved Jerri and JT was sent packing. JT was a victim of his own mistake by trusting Russell and giving him the very idol that was used to then take him out of the game. It will go down as one of the dumbest mistakes in the history of the show.

In the previews for next week, Sandra is shown promising to take out Russell finally after secretly wanting to for 30 days. We will see how that plays out as she aligns herself with the 4 Heroes left, leaving 4 Villains (Parvati, Russell, Danielle and Jerri) left to fight for their survival as the Heroes may now have the upper hand with Sandra’s swing vote. What is really going to be interesting is Russell’s reaction to Parvati not being upfront with him about having 2 idols. He was left a little shocked after the tribal council as he was shown saying “You have some explaining to do.”

Recap from Episode 9 Survivor History

In this episode J.T. hatches a plan where he will hand off the immunity idol he found to Russell if the Heroes beat the Villains in the immunity challenge. He hopes that Russell will use it to save himself and to make sure that Parvati is voted off instead. He thinks this will cause Russell to feel indebted to the Heroes and will encourage him to flip to their side after the merge. J.T. is convinced there is an all girl alliance on the Villains tribe and that Russell’s head is next on the chopping block.

The Villains won the reward challenge where they were treated to Outback steaks and potatoes. Parvati just happened to sit at the spot where there was a hidden clue in the napkin on her plate. This clue was to the hidden immunity idol. Parvati only told Danielle and they decided to look for it together and not to tell Russell just yet. They found the idol within a few minutes. There seems to be so many idols floating around that it is hard to keep track of who all has one.

At the immunity challenge things went according to J.T.’s plan. The Heroes won and J.T. successfully handed over the idol to Russell which really tickled Russell. This move will have everyone scratching their head and wondering what caused J.T. to lose his mind. J.T. passed off a note with the idol which said to read only when he is alone. Of course Russell read the note with Parvati and they had a real good laugh at J.T.’s expense. This will no doubt go down at the dumbest move in Survivor History and there are some real dumb ones that already top that list.

At tribal council Courtney was voted out despite Parvati’s attempt to convince Russell that she could keep Courtney controlled more than Sandra. This seems to be a big mistake on their part. It’s not hard to figure out that with Sandra knowing that she is on the outs with Russell and his alliance that she will flip over to the Heroes side and will tell them that there is no woman’s alliance and that Russell is lying to them and that he has been running the show since Boston Rob was voted out.

In the previews for next week’s episode it shows clips from the merge and things should get very interesting at that point.

Episode 8 Recap “Expectations”

Jerry and Coach are already missing Boston Rob and both regret that he had to go. Russell thinks he is leading the Villains now.

At the Heroes camp JT starts to look for the hidden immunity idol even though they decided to look for it together as a unified tribe. Amanda walked up right when he found it and he had to show her. It did not appear that he would have told anyone had he not gotten caught and once he told Amanda, then Candace walked up so he had to show everyone in order to come clean. He announced to everyone that they would use it after the merge and that it would be used to save the first one of them that was on the chopping block. Candace feels that JT is slimmy and sneaky and she feels he should go because he can’t be trusted.

At the reward challenge JT mouthed the words “Hang in There” to Russell which was suspicious. It didn’t appear that anyone else saw this exchange. The Villains brought their entire camp (shelter, tool box, clothes) anticipating the merge, making them look a little silly. Jeff started the reward challenge by saying “Drop Your” and everyone cheered thinking that he was about to say Merge but then he finished with “Expectations.” Clearly the villains were disappointed. The Heroes were pretty happy because they want a chance to knock a few more villains off before the merge. The Villains are starving and just wanted to feast.

The Heroes won the reward challenge and were treated to a feast while the Villains were sent back to their camp where they have to reassemble their shelter since they took everything with them to the challenge.

The Heroes feel that with Boston Rob being voted out that there is a girl alliance on the villain side. This both angered and delighted Russell. Surely he wants credit for getting Tyson and Rob voted out but on the other hand he thinks this assumption will draw the Heroes to him after the merge in order to convince him to flip to their side, which puts him in a great position to gain insight into their plans after the merge.

The Villains turned on each as soon as they got back to camp. Sandra stated that she hates everyone on her tribe and that she should be on the Heroes tribe. Sandra hatches a plan where she will tell Russell that Coach is gunning for him because she knows the second that Russell thinks someone is after him that he cuts them out immediately. Of course Russell fell for it and started plotting to get Coach out.

At the immunity challenge the Heroes smoked the Villains in a mud challenge that left them all covered from head to toe in mud. Courtney was injured at the end by twisting her ankle and had to hop off the course.

Coach is tempted to vote out Russell because he took out his “two best friends” but he also knows that Courtney is the weakest link and is pulling them down on challenges. Russell plans to vote out Coach, but Danielle wants to keep him to keep the strong players. Russell freaked out on Danielle because he doesn’t see the logic in keeping Coach.

It was clear at tribal council that they were not a unified team since Boston Rob is gone. Jeff clearly pointed out that 99 out of 100 people would have chosen to keep Rob and Tyson over someone like Courtney. She saw this as an insult and challenged him. “I have outlasted several strong players. I’m a determined little bitch and I will do what it takes to get to the end.” She wasn’t going to go out without putting up a fight.

Coach was voted out and became the first member of the jury. Courtney dodged a big bullet tonight.

In the previews for next week, Jeff stated that one of the players may make a mistake that will rival some of the dumbest moves in survivor’s history. It sounds promising.

7th Episode Recap "I'm Not a Good Villain"

At the beginning of the episode Rob revealed that out of his 3 times to play Survivor that this was the first time that he had been shocked by tribal council. He stated that “Something doesn’t feel right here at all.” He knows that they needed to have taken either Russell or Parvati out and instead they lost one of their own to Russell’s tricky move last episode. Rob is confused by how cocky Russell, Parvati and Danielle can be when there are only 3 of them and 5 in his alliance. This gets him wondering if there are any traitors in his alliance and if the joke is on him.

Russell thinks he has swayed Jerry to his side but she is very noncommitted when they pressure her for her thoughts on going to the Top 4 with them.

At the Hero camp Colby knows that it is “Put up or Shut up time” and that he has to start performing at the challenges to prove that it was the right decision to vote James out. And Colby finally delivered in the reward challenge by helping the Heroes win. During the reward they were given a new clue to another immunity idol which brought the game back into play for all of them. Then they decide as a unit to look for the idol together and use it to play against the villains instead of fighting each other for it.

Jerry and Coach have a heart to heart on the beach about whether to side with Russell instead of Rob. Coach feels Jerry is making a mistake but feels bound to work along side her in the game. This doesn’t bode well for Rob.

The Heroes won the immunity challenge by a huge lead.

Rob talks to Coach about getting Russell out then Russell tries to get Coach to vote out Rob and blindside him. It turned into a very tense tribal council pitting Russell and Rob against each other and each trying to make the case for the other to be voted out. In the end Rob was outnumbered and voted out. Now this decision is going to totally disrupt the whole tribe. Rob was the one good thing holding everyone together for the challenges.

Recap Episode 6 “Banana Etiquette”

At the beginning of the episode Russell and Rob talk in the middle of the night while the rest of the survivors are sleeping. Russell wanted to let Rob know that he wasn’t gunning for him (which of course he is). Rob didn’t buy any of his lies and Rob told Russell that the rest of the villains are upset that he was looking for the hidden idol. He told him that if he does have it that he better hold on to it and that he needs to watch his back. Russell told Rob that he needs to do the same. This is shaping up to be a great battle between the two.

The challenge was both a reward and immunity challenge. Each tribe got a chance to compete for an immunity idol so essentially it was an individual immunity challenge within each tribe. Each tribe had to go to tribal council so the winner from each tribe would be safe. Candace won for the Heroes tribe and Boston Rob won for the Villains tribe. Then each went head to head to win the reward which was hotdogs and a chance to sit in on the opposite tribes’ tribal council to gain an insight into their game play.

After the villains get back to the camp Rob talks with the group and decides they will vote out Parvati but make Russell think it is him that is going so that he will play the idol. Then Rob tells Russell that he better find the idol if he doesn’t have it already because he is going to need that tonight. Russell doesn’t like being threatened with being voted off. Rob told him that it is better “to play with me than against me” and Russell says they are going to eat their words. Russell figures out quickly that they are trying to blind side him. Russell says he will give Parvati the idol because he figures out they will put Parvati’s name down to try to force a tie or to get her out.

At the Heroes camp, Colby announces that he knows he is the one to go tonight so he doesn’t want anyone scrambling and that they shouldn’t let the other team know any information at tribal. The team talks about James’ liability. Amanda tries to take up for James even though he is injured. Amanda convinces James to show the other survivors that he can run on his leg but when racing JT he doesn’t make a convincing argument.

Rob and his alliance decide to cast 3 votes for Russell and 3 for Parvati so that they are sure to get one out in case Russell uses the idol on himself or gives it to Parvati. But before they go to tribal Russell pulls Tyson aside and tells him that he is voting for Parvati even though he doesn’t want to and this causes Tyson to think that he can switch his vote to Parvati to get her out without forcing a tie.

When Rob cast his vote for Russell he said to the camera “Welcome to the Big Leagues”

Before the votes were cast Russell stood up to play the idol and faked everyone out. He turned around to give the idol to Parvati in a very dramatic way of course. In a surprising move Tyson was voted out. Everyone was left shaking their heads. At the end of the day it was Tyson’s own stupidity that got him voted out. He was supposed to vote for Russell but he switched his vote to Parvati after Russell told him that he was going to vote her out. There was 3 votes for Tyson, 2 for Russell and 4 for Parvati which didn’t count since she got the idol.

At the Heroes tribal council the Villains got to eat their food in front of the Heroes while they were listening in on their discussion. James told Jeff that Colby isn’t living up to his potential and it is like seeing Superman is in a fat suit. Poor Colby. Colby admits to everyone that he hasn’t performed well in any of the challenges yet and that it is disappointing for him.

After the votes were cast, we find out that James was the 7th person voted out. Colby dodged a big bullet there. James stated as he left that he was going to be good and drunk in the next five minutes and as he hobbled down the stairs he slipped on his injured leg – guess they voted the right person out.

My head is still spinning from the confusion over the Villains tribal council. Russell lives up to his evil genius status. That slick move will definitely put a larger target on his back now and Rob will make it his top priority to get him out very soon.

Recap for Episode 5 “Knights of the Round Table”

At the beginning of the episode Russell was once again looking for the hidden immunity idol while all the other villains were meditating on the beach. And of course Russell found it like every other idol he has set his sites on. He said this changes everything about the game.

At the beginning of the reward challenge Jeff offered the survivors a little taste of chocolate since that was the reward but all the heroes turned it down and they actually looked a bit annoyed about the fact that the villains were drooling over the chocolate and that they were giddy. The Heroes said they were just ready to get to the challenge. Colby snapped at Jeff to just get it started and Jeff said he would start it when he was ready. Lots of tension!

During the challenge James fell and medical was called in. Medical thought he might have sprained a muscle but they weren’t sure. He tried to walk it out but he was in too much pain and had to hop off to the side and sit out the challenge. It got rough with each tribe slamming into one another over and over again. Jerry got slammed into a post by Rupert and it was a hard hit. He tried to apologize but she didn’t accept it. Jerry ended up scoring the winning shot for the villains and won a whole load of chocolate delectables for the tribe. James was held back after the challenge for medical to get a closer look at his injury.

At the reward Russell told Pavarti and Coach about finding the idol. Coach was so honored to be let in on the secret that he bowed down to Russell and Russell ate it up. The two biggest narcissists this season seem to be uniting forces against Boston Rob.

Amanda broke down in tears over whether James would come back to the game. Then moments later James came hobbling back to the camp and Amanda was happy once again.

At the immunity challenge the tribes were blindfolded and were tripping all over each other which looked painful. The villains won again and the heroes had to go back to tribal council once again. Half the tribe was talking about voting Tom off. But JT and Candace were seen talking about voting James off. JT is the swing vote and has been wishy-washy the whole episode so no one knew what he would do when it came to the vote.

In the end Tom was voted out with 5 votes and James had 2 votes cast against him

In the preview for next week Russell and Boston Rob appear to be squaring off against each other which makes for great tv.

4th Episode Recap

4th Episode Recap "Tonight We Make Our Move"

Right off the bat Coach breaks down and confides in Tyson. He doesn’t see why everyone is saying negative things about him and he says he is the man and that he is the only noble one out there. Tyson tells him to stick it out and that he will be there to help him through it if he wants to stay but Coach says he may just leave tonight. This is the first time we have seen Coach cry and for sure the first time we have seen Tyson comfort someone instead of mocking them. Rob took Coach aside the next day and told him to act like a man. Then Coach is heard saying a whole bunch of gibberish in the voice over about being the Last Mohican and the last man standing. It was the longest Coach rant ever.

The reward challenge was a total excuse to oil up the survivors in a sort of slip and slide skee ball combination. The villains won reward after it was tied up in the very last round. Tyson hit the ball into the net before Colby did, thus winning the entire challenge for the villains. The team won Sears merchandise – and inside one of the knives they won was a clue to the hidden immunity idol buried at camp. Boston Rob immediately suggested that they all look for it as a team and not individually and if they find it they will get rid of it. He said that they didn’t have immunity idols when he was on in previous seasons. Sandra says whoever finds the idol is marked. So of course Russell immediately starts looking for the idol and the group starts talking about voting him off next because they can’t trust him.

At the Heroes camp everyone is looking for the hidden idol and Tom found it and Amanda saw him stash it in his sock. This makes Tom and Colby feel a little more comfortable with where they stand now.

The immunity challenge was the only challenge that has ever been stopped and unfinished in the history of survivor, which is the one from last season where Russell passed out and they stopped the challenge to give him time to recover. Rob led the Villains to victory.

Everyone was scrambling when they went back to the camp and at first Candace was going home, then Cirice talked her gang out of it and now JT, Tom and Colby know that Cirie is the mastermind and they know they have to vote her off because she can easily persuade the other survivors to vote however she sees fit.

Right before the votes were read, Tom used the immunity idol to save himself. Cirie was voted out with 3 votes, Colby had 2 votes cast against him and Tom had 3 that didn’t count since he used the idol. Jeff said that it qualified as the first blind side of the season.

Recap Episode 3 "That Girl Is Like a Virus"

That Girl Is Like a Virus

This episode starts out immediately back at the Heroes camp after the 2nd tribal council where Stephanie was bullied by James and voted out. The tribe discusses what went down at that explosive tribal. James asks “Did I say it Wrong?” To which Tom says “You could have been gentler. But we aired out a lot of things that needed to be said.” Tom explains to the camera that now the vibe is that everyone comes back to camp and puts on a happy face and tries to make this as pleasant as possible to be together. JT explains to Tom why he betrayed his alliance with him and that he felt it was the move that he had to make.

Back at the Villains camp we see who is snuggling at night. And Rob gives us some insight on how to know who is aligned with whom. Rob says the clearest sign is to watch how they sleep at night and whoever is sleeping next to them shows who is aligned with who because you don’t go to sleep by the guy you want to vote off. Futhermore, he goes on to reveal that he doesn’t trust Russell at all. He says Russell has puppy dog eyes for Parvati and that he follows her around all over camp. Parvati and Russell are shown giggling with each other like a couple of school girls while they are snuggling extremely close together in the shelter. Rob goes on to say that it is dangerous to have that kind of relationship on survivor and that he knows first hand because it happened with him and Amber so he knows how powerful that kind of alliance is.

At the Heroes camp they seem deflated and less of a cohesive group. They are shown doing tasks around camp individually and silently. Then the men come together to catch the chickens and Rupert thinks it was a great bonding experience for their team and he feels better about their teamwork.

Coach feels out Russell on his feelings on Parvati. Coach sees her as the most dangerous player on their tribe and he is concerned over Russell’s puppy love and the power and allure that Parvati has. She seems to put quite a spell on all the men. Rob joins the discussion too and expresses his concerns to Russell and tells him that he will give him the benefit of the doubt one time. And wow this opens up Russell’s narcissism. He pretends to go along with what they say but to the camera he lets loose on his views. He says Coach is a big joke and that he can flap his jaws all he wants and that Rob things he is the King but Russell says he is the daddy here. “He doesn’t know who he is messing with, no one knows who they are messing with around here. It’s Russell give me a break.” Then he goes over to spill the beans to Parvati and the way he looks at her is sickening it’s so lovey dovey. What must his wife think when she watches how he gushes over her? Parvati tells the camera that she thinks she is just a sweet little innocent girl and it baffles her that she has been targeted already and then she smirks. She says she trusts Russell even though he is a lunatic. She tells him that if she goes that he will go next which is just a ploy to put fear in him about having her targeted so soon.

Coach is caught telling crazy stories again just like last time and most likely they are all exaggerated tales of how courageous and brave he is.

During the night Russell gets rid of the machete to stir up trouble and conflict. He takes it into the woods and buries it. He wants to drive Rob insane so he targets his baseball hat too. We never find out if he actually buries the hat or not. Maybe this will be resolved in future episodes.

Randy captures a clam and no one wants to help him eat it which hurts his feelings just a bit. You could tell he was trying to appear like he was contributing to the tribe but it didn’t work out in his favor.

JT starts to get a bad feeling about Candace and talks to Cirie about Candace. This starts Candace’s paranoia so she talks to everyone on the tribe to find out who told Cirie that Candace didn’t trust her.

At the immunity challenge contestants were paired up against each other and the object was to push your opponent off the platform into the surrounding mud pit first while holding pads and not using your hands directly or your feet. Right off the bat Tom knocked Russell off his feet. Candace and Parvati squared off and both fought to stay on the platform but finally Candace pushed Parvati off and fell on top of her. Rupert and Coach traded blows against each other and Rupert was pushed off the platform while Coach celebrated too early. Coach looked like a cave man as he grunted and howled at his supposed victory. However, Jeff called a redo since Coach used his hands instead of the pad to push Rupert off, which is against the rules. Coach is so disgusted with the call that he flashed Jeff Probst the bird. In their redo match Rupert prevailed against Coach which deflated Coach’s ego quite a bit. Cirie dominated Jerry by pushing her off in just two pushes. JT and Tyson were matched up and Tyson started off by shaking off mud in front of JT’s spot to make it more slippery but after a few good exchanges JT mastered Tyson and Tyson then got back up on the platform with a hug for JT and ended up sneaking in a kiss to JT’s cheek which was most likely just to annoy JT. Amanda and Danielle gave the best girl on girl fight but in the end Danielle was the one left with mud on her face. Colby and Rob gave us a great battle but Colby was victorious. In the last match up, it was James versus Randy and it was no contest. James knocked Randy off with one solid punch making it the most easily won match. Heroes dominated that challenge.

Tyson reflected on the challenge and said that he thinks the Heroes all ate steroid sandwiches prior to the challenge and that it was actually scary to look them in the eye because they all looked crazy eyed and he feared for their sanity. You can always count on Tyson for some humorous quotes.

Coach says he can’t be persuaded by Parvati’s wiggle. Jerry is jealous of her and vows to take her out. Right before tribal council there is a voice over of Coach launching into a supposedly inspirational speech while quoting Martin Luther King Jr – this speech is so awkward and misplaced. For heaven’s sake this isn’t war this is a game show. He acts as if he is prepping for an epic battle where he will face significant adversity but must endure and prevail due to his courage and fortitude. Geez.

At tribal council, Parvati is pinpointed early on as a threat for her previous relationships with three of the heroes. Coach gets offended when Sandra implies that he isn’t working enough at camp and he gets his feathers all ruffled.

The 3rd person voted off of Survivor Heroes Vs. Villains was Randy in a vote of 6 to one with 1 mysterious vote for Boston Rob. At the end of the episode we see that Randy was the one who voted for Boston Rob saying that he was trying to send a message to the remaining villains. He claims that they made a huge and most likely costly mistake by taking him out and leaving Parvati in the game. Seems like most people wouldn’t disagree with that.

In the previews for next week we see that Coach has a melt down and that Russell’s time may be running out on this season.

Episode 2 recap

Episode 2 – Aired 2/18/2010

“It’s Getting the Best of Me”

The episode starts out with a torrential downpour that is giving the villain tribe a run for their money and it is really impacting morale. One cast member stated “The luckiest person on Season 20 was just voted out.” Boston Rob thinks he is on the buffoon tribe again and it is really getting to him. Coach says “It is all gonna come down to what people got upstairs” meaning that it will come down to a mental game with all these negative conditions already messing with people’s heads this early on in the season.

Boston Rob is clearly the hardest working person on the tribe and Courtney said “I hope he doesn’t drop dead in the next few days or we are not going to make it.” Who knew that would be some foreshadowing for the next few minutes of the show. This also brings up an interesting fact, right before Stephanie was injured in the first challenge in this season Courtney yells out “Break her shoulder,” and then moments later Stephanie’s shoulder was popped out of place. It will be interesting to see if Courtney has anymore predictions for this season.

Rob has been working very hard around camp and trying to build a better shelter and he is getting very frustrated with the lack of motivation and help from fellow tribe mates. You hear him say a few times that he has to drink some water. He stated that he isn’t feeling well and he says that he is done with working so hard for this tribe. He starts to feel weak and dizzy and you can tell he doesn’t look right. He walked off into the woods and thankfully Jerry followed him. He quickly passed out and couldn’t move. He could barely get out the words “Get Help” as he looked like he was unable to move his body or his head. Jeff Probst comes in with the medical team. They check him out and say he looks worse than he actually is and say that he has the flu and Rob stated that he thinks he has a little touch of “crybabyitis” as well. Luckily his sense of humor is back. He said he had a moment of clarity and he is ready to stop trying to be the nice guy because it is making him physically sick so he is going to start being the villain that everyone wants him to be. Boston Rob is back!!!

Back at the heroes camp they seem to be all working much harder as a team around camp. No slackers here. Rupert tells the camera that he wants Stephanie out and Stephanie thinks Rupert is getting annoying with him having an opinion on everything.

Boston Rob pretty much single handedly led his Villains tribe to victory in the immunity challenge. Even though he was sick, Rob gutted it out to dominate the challenge. At one point he pushed the heavy block up on his back by himself which is amazing considering the condition we saw him in earlier in the episode. Back at camp, Russell continues to be threatened by Rob’s personality and Russell declared himself as the “King from Samoa.” We have a huge case of narcissism going on here!

Back at the Heroes camp James targets Stephanie to go home. He thinks she brings bad luck with her since she was the last one left on her tribe from her season. He doesn’t see it as heroic that she was the last standing; he thinks she just brought bad luck with her and got everyone voted off around her due to some serious voodoo I guess. He repeats this theory to any who will listen. As a response to this attack on Stephanie, Tom and Stephanie try to sway a few survivors to vote out Amanda tonight.

Things exploded in tribal council when James started calling Stephanie out as a trouble maker in the challenge. This led to Colby and Tom jumping to her rescue as they pointed out that James was bullying her too much. Jeff pointed out that it seemed very early for them to be turning on each other instead of uniting as a team to win the challenges needed to keep them out of tribal council.

At the second tribal council of the season, Stephanie was voted out. Stephanie had 5 votes and Amanda had 3 votes (of the votes that were read out)

Stephanie had some parting words for her tribe. She told them that “The next time ya’ll lose a challenge a little less cursing off your tribe mates wouldn’t hurt.” To that James responded “Keep your mouth shut.” A very jaw dropping exit to say the least.

Episode Recap for Season 20 Premiere of Survivor Heroes vs. Villains

Episode 1 “Slay Everyone, Trust No One” 39 Days, 20 People, 1 Survivor

This episode started of with Jeff Probst reminiscing about the past seasons of survivor stating that over 300 people have tested themselves on Survivor in the past 10 years over 20 seasons. These contestants assembled for this show down are some of the most adored contestants ever as well as some of the most hated and ruthless to ever play this game.

Then the camera cuts to helicopters carrying the contestants to the island. Right away the contestants are talking smack about game play and egos. Once on the beach the trash talking continues as Jeff questions each side about who thinks they are on the wrong team, who is intimidating on each side, and which team has the advantage (strength and size wise). Many of the villains are questioning their status as villains namely Boston Rob, Courtney (yeah right), Pavarti and Casandra. Jeff quickly straightens things out by running down the list of heinous actions performed by Pavarti during her season, clearly showing that she is on the right team.

During the first challenge the drama starts right away. Stephanie is injured just minutes into the first battle, dislocating her shoulder and the medical team is called in to look at her injury. There was a moment there where she questioned whether to even have medical examine her. She is already thinking that she doesn’t want to be taken out of the game due to injury. But a moment later her shoulder is popped back into place and she is ready to get the challenge back underway. The challenge gets even more heated from there. Tyson is quoted as saying that Colby has lost all masculinity and might as well become a girl after he got man handled by Coach. Sugar loses her bra while Sandra was keeping her and Candice pinned down but Sugar takes the bag and runs with it across the finish line topless and all. The challenge was tied at 2 and 2 at that point. James is a powerhouse and can’t be stopped as Boston Rob tries to hold on to his leg. That point wins the challenge for the Heroes. So the breakdown after the first challenge is that Rupert breaks a toe in at least two places and Stephanie has a dislocated shoulder at the first challenge. This is going to be an intense season.

Once back at camp Russell is already scheming and making deals with every girl to go to the end (final two). No one trusts him but no one wants to go against “the devil” as Pavarti said.

It seems like the Heroes are off to a great start with the first win and they caught 4 chickens at camp.

At the Villains camp the egos are flying with Russell and Coach. Coach hasn’t changed a bit – always tooting his own horn. And there is a Villain romance brewing already between Coach and Jerry; the black widow and the dragon slayer – a match made in heaven. And Coach has a bromance on his idol Boston Rob which doesn’t please egomaniac Russell who wants all the attention and adoration for himself.

JT and James put together a guy’s guy alliance as JT sees it. And Tom tries to get JT into an alliance as well since they are both previous winners. Tom thinks he has a better chance going up against someone that has already won the million. Paranoia has already set in at camp. Contestants are suspicious of the survivors that played previous seasons together. They seem to be pairing up since they know each other and know each other’s strategies. To win this season these contestants are going to need to switch things up and change strategies. Russell is threatened by how star struck Coach is with Boston Rob and he vows that he isn’t going to let Rob rule the camp while he is around. Russell is here to prove that he is the greatest player to ever play Survivor and he is convinced that he can hang with the big dogs.

There seems to be a big difference between survivors from early seasons and those from more recent seasons. The newer survivors don’t seem to have the same work ethic according to Boston Rob. They want to lie around and not help out at camp where he feels that he is just as competitive and cut throat as he was 6 years ago on his season.

Sugar is cozying up to Colby who isn’t interested in her flirtatiousness and she keeps the whole tribe from sleeping. Colby predicts this will be her downfall as she is not starting off on a good foot here.

The first immunity challenge ended as the Villains flew past the Heroes at the end with the puzzle portion of the challenge after the Heroes carved out a huge lead for themselves. The Heroes started to unravel and fall apart and Boston Rob and Casandra led the Villains to victory. As Jeff pointed out at the end of the challenge Sugar was in tears right on cue on day 3. Back at camp the Villains are strengthened by their win and their opponents division.

At the Heroes camp there is talk of getting rid of Sugar because she is emotional and annoying but half of the group feels Cirie is too much of a strategic threat and Cirie and Amanda feel that it could be best to get rid of one of the power players like Tom or Stephanie.

Jeff spent the majority of tribal council assessing who the threats are in the game, identifying pairs of players who are possibly aligned due to previous play and basically concluding that everyone in this game is a threat or they wouldn’t be here.

It came down to voting off the most annoying player. Sugar was the first person voted out of the game. Thus ends the first episode from this season and it was definitely a dramatic one. This set the bar pretty high for the upcoming episodes. It will be one heck of a ride this time!!

The previews show Boston Rob passing out in the woods and medical coming to check him out. Hopefully he won’t be jerked from the game on that account.

Who will win A Hero or A Villain?
