On December 14, 2008, the winner of Survivor Gabon was announced as Bob Crowley on the series finale. The final episode of the reality show narrowed down the top five contestants to the final three; the previously eliminated jury members then voted on who they thought should win the grand prize of $1 million. Crowley also won the Sprint Player of the Season Award, a prize of $100,000.
