Survivor: Tocantins The Brazilian Highlands, or simply known as Survivor Brazil, is the 18th season of the reality television show Survivor hosted by Jeff Probst. The new season premiered on Thursday, February 12, 2009 at 8pm/7c. This marks the second time the show has been to Brazil, the first time was in the 6th season, Survivor: The Amazon.

How to Win

The contestants will try to "outwit, outlast and outplay" each other for 39 days and vote each other off one by one until there are three contestants remaining. Of those three, the "jury," the last contestants eliminated, will cast their vote for one of the remaining three to win the grand prize of $1 million.
