Surrogates is a film set to be released in September 2009. The movie stars Bruce Willis as an FBI agent investigating murders in a time when humans have begun communicating with each other only via robotic versions of themselves. Jonathan Mostow, of Rise of the Machines, directed the movie.

Plot Synopsis
In Surrogates, humans do not leave their homes; rather they send out into the world robotic copies of themselves, or surrogates. When the inventor of the surrogates is murdered, FBI Agent Greer (played by Bruce Willis), is tasked with the duty of finding the killer, aided by Agent Peters, (played by Radha Mitchell). As the investigation progresses, Greer realizes that he is going to have to venture outside without the protection of his surrogate to track the killer down.http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0986263/synopsisCast
