  • Supergrass is an English rock band who has released six studio albums since 1995. Their debut, I Should Coco, gained quite a bit of exposure in the United Kingdom starting from the first single "Caught by the Fuzz." Soon the Supergrass brand of brit-pop was introduced to American audiences as well, partially thanks to the song "Alright" being included on the soundtrack to the Alicia Silverstone comedy, Clueless.

The band continued releasing albums, many of which were well-received by critics who noted their musical development. They also found more success with singles such as "Pumping on Your Stereo," although most of their popularity remained in England as they generally stayed under the radar in the United States. To commemorate their first full decade as a band, the greatest hits compilation Supergrass Is 10 was released in 2004. They followed it with another critical favorite, Road to Rouen.

In 2007, bassist Mick Quinn sleepwalked out of an open window and shattered his heel along with breaking two vertebrae, but he recovered from the incident.
