Trophies are collectible prizes in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. When examined in the game's Trophy Case, players can read about the trophy and its place in Nintendo or video game history. Trophies do not help characters during matches, Stadium contests or the Subspace Emissary. Trophies can be collected anywhere at anytime except during versus mode matches and online versus mode matches. During the Subspace Emissary mission, players can grab a trophy plate and throw it at any character, turning them automatically into a trophy that can be picked up right away.
