Originally appearing in [[Pokémon FireRed]] and [[Pokémon LeafGreen]], Pokemon Trainer is one of the playable characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for the Wii. Rather than fighting as the trainer, however, you control his three Pokémon, Squirtle, Ivysaur, or Charizard.
-
Pros
- Pokémon Trainer consists of three separate characters, which are very powerful in combination
- Charizard survives at high percentages where the others do not
- Squirtle and Ivysaur are great for racking up damage
- Charizard can easily KO high-percent opponents
Cons
- Pokémon Change cannot be used in midair or while invincible, making it easily punishable towards the end
- Pokémon automatically sends out the next Pokémon when one is Knocked out. Use Pokémon Change twice to switch
- Pokémon get significantly weaker if Pokémon Change is not used with regularity
- Certain Pokémon are bad in certain situations, and sometimes you will be stuck between using a bad Pokémon for a situation, or dealing with reduced stamina or being punished for multiple Pokémon Changes
Squirtle's Special Moves
