Rocky Road
- This level is unlocked by completing "Big Bad Bugaboom" in Honeyhive Galaxy. A Hungry Luma will appear outside the Terrace; feed him 400 Star Bits to create the Launch Star.
- Simply leap over/avoid the holes in the moving ground as you move forward; hugging the sides are your best bet. Always use the long jump when crossing anywhere in this level.
- Past them are more moving ground platforms, this time moving towards the side as apposed to against your path. Do not let them guide you into the electrical barriers.
- The next gauntlet is a pathway with a spinning platform underneath. This area is a checkpoint; make sure to always grab the 1-Up here in case you are killed in the final area.
- The final area is again a long way through a platform field moving against Mario's goal. The "platforms" now alternate between big holes versus tiny discs. Use the long jump to leap to solid ground and stay in the middle; when your long jump goes over your landing point, hold the analog against your jump direction to keep Mario from overshooting it. The long jumps should be more than enough to clear the electric barriers.
- After that, grab the star on top of the giant cake.

Megaleg's Moon
- The Launch Star near the start is trapped in a glass cage. You will need to break cages like these using a Bullet Bill. Search for a Bill Blaster on the planet and lure the Bullet Bill to the cage. Position the cage between you and the Bullet Bill as much as possible. It will demolish the cage and grant you the Launch Star.
- Next area: climb up Megaleg's leg (note the green arrows). Look out for Bullet Bills.
- On top of Megaleg is a massive cage. Trick a Bullet Bill into slamming into it.
- A sectioned fence will appear to protect the glass cage with the Grand Star. The fence "regenerates" after some time. Trick all the flying Bullet Bills to slam into the fencing, then into the cage inside. It's best to be positioned below the cannons to get the Bullet Bills to follow you perpendicular to the fencing.
- When the glass cage with the Grand Star is smashed, Megaleg will be defeated and you will get the Grand Star and access to the Fountain.

THE FOUNTAIN
- The Fountain is available after completing "Bowser Jr's Robot Reactor". To reach it, step on the blue telepad at the end of the ornate stone path past the Terrace to teleport to it. The levels available from the Fountain are below.
Pull Star Path
- From where you land, use the Pull Star to reach the crystal column ahead. (Aim the cursor on the Pull Star and hold A).
- From the crystal column, use the trail of Pull Stars to reach a group of glass orbs.
- Collect the 5 star chips on the glass orbs, avoiding the electrodes. Use the Launch Star they create.
- Next area: on the derelict rocket shop, search near the head of the ship for a pull star. Use the pull stars to cross more glass orbs.
- From the glass orbs, follow the path of pull stars to an area with spiders.
- Stomp/spin the spiders out of the way when they are not airborne, and follow the arrows to an area full of crystals. Smash all the crystals and free the Toads.
- The Toad's Starshroom will appear. Jump straight up to climb it, and use the Sling Star to reach a deep space junk pile.
- The goal is to find five silver stars among the debris. The path will automatically form as you progress; simply walk as slow as possible and search everywhere for the five stars.
- When all five silver stars are found, they will create a star by the entrance to this area; carefully return to collect it.

Kamella's Airship Attack
- Use the Starshrooms to reach the first Launch Star. Launch to the airship above.
- Spin attack the blue lever by the gang plank; it will fall down allow you to cross.
- Note the bunnies; they are demonstrating the ability to increase your jump distance by spin attacking in mid-air (referred to as "buffering" for the purpose of this walkthrough). Use the technique to reach a nearby 1-up, then break the crate near the gold-eared bunny for a Sling Star.
- Next area: grab the Koopa Shell in the center of the deck and use it to open a chest a Magikoopa is guarding. Use the Launch Star.
- Drop down and spin attack the Koopas. Use their shells to take out the Octopi attacking from the ship ahead; line up Mario with them and shake the Wiimote to hurl the shell. These Octopi do not spit coconuts and you must use the shell.
- The gangplank lowers after defeating the octopi; use it to reach the boss.
- BOSS: Kamella
- Look out for Kamella's fireballs and wait for her to shoot a green magic spell at Mario. Spin attack the green magic to receive a shell. Hurl the shell at Kamella to damage her.
- After taking a hit, her magic fireball power will increase. Avoid the fireballs and spin attack her green magic to receive a shell as before.
- After another hit, she will summon two Magikoopas to aid her. Take down the Magikoopas with spin attacks before returning your attention to Kamella. Hit her with a shell as before to defeat her and win a star.

Tarantox's Tangled Web
- Leap across the Starshrooms to the Pull Stars. Follow the Pull Star path to a glassy planet.
- Look for a hole in the glass planet and follow the paths inside to a Launch Star. Use it to launch through the glass surface to a new area.
- New area: watch out for spiders and use the Sling Pods to launch your way forward (touch the pods, grab them with the A button, and aim them towards your target.
- The pods lead to a derelict space ship. Look for a Life Mushroom inside a crystal on the ship.
- There is another Sling Pod near the fins of the ship, use it to launch towards a stone block with a Sling Pod, then from it to a strange asteroid.
- Mario will break down the asteroid, revealing a cocoon in a web. Use the the Sling Pods in the webbing to launch Mario into the cocoon to begin a boss battle.
- BOSS: Tarantox
- Stay away from its face as you battle to avoid getting squirted by venom. Use the Sling Pods to fling Mario into the glowing green pods on its body. When enough green pods are destroyed, Tarantox will flip over and reveal three red pods underneath its body. Quickly sling Mario into the three red pods.
- Tarantox will recover and this time spray venom from both its face and its green pods. Wait for a lull in its venom spraying and launch into the green pods, then again launch into the red pods once it flips over.
- When the red pods are all destroyed a second time, Tarantox will be defeated. Sling Mario into the star it leaves behind.
Yoshi's Unexpected Appearance
- Select the level "Tarantox's Tangled Web". Follow the pull star paths to the glassy planet.
- On the surface of the glassy planet, there is a hungry Luma that needs 50 Star Bits; feed him and use his Launch Star to launch to the planet he made.
- Next area: Mario is on a planet that resembles a wooden Yoshi head. It's flooded with Goombas. To deal with them, use the "stomp launch" techinque: jump on one, then hold A so that Mario is launched high into the air onto another Goomba.
- Keep picking off Goombas in this fashion; in fact, if you can stomp multiple Goombas in a row without touching the ground, the game will eventually reward you with 1-Ups. When all the Goombas are eliminated, collect the star that appears.
Pull Star Path Speed Run (COMET)
- You have 4 minutes to complete the "Pull Star Path" level in full. Play the level as normal until you reach the final area, with the space debris and the five silver stars. Remember to use Mario's momentum on the pull stars to move quickly from one to the other. If you are having trouble at the space debris zone with the five silver stars, follow the next steps.
- Run forward. When the debris makes a three-way split, go left and grab the first silver star, then return to the fork.
- Take the right path on the split and get the second silver star. Return to the split.
- Go north on the split and at the fork, and run left. Follow the path and when the purple pad underneath the third silver star appears, long jump straight to it (don't forget that Mario and Luigi can air brake and buffer their jumps).
- Run to the coin in front of Silver Star #3 and jump straight to the coin ahead of it. Get the fourth silver star.
- Follow the path back to the fork and take the right-side path instead. Follow it to the fifth silver star. Save time by jumping straight at the group of coins and from them to the silver star.
- Follow the path back to the fork, then long jump like crazy all the way straight to the beginning for the star.
Battlerock Barrage
- Grab the first star chip in front of you, then collect a second one two discs away. There is a third on a disk nearby. If the Astro Goombas are in your way (the Goombas wearing helmets), knock them down with a spin attack, then stomp them before they recover.
- Look underneath the disk next to your current disc for another, and the final chip on a disc ahead. This will create a pull star path to the Launch star.
- Next area: use the purple droid to spring upwards to another disc. Screw in the blue bolt by standing on it and spin attacking.
- Your disc will now travel a massive gantlet of cannons. Collect as many star bits as you can using the Wiimote cursor as you travel; you can use the star bits to shoot down cannonballs for coins.
- The disc will float pass some electric barriers. For the green barriers, you must travel underneath the disc to avoid taking a hit; you must be on the opposite side for the red barriers. There is one green barrier you must jump over (it is low-enough to do so). Watch out for the electrodes orbiting the disc.
- At the end of the line is the star trapped in a glass cage. Use the Bullet Bill cannons past it to destroy the cage holding the star.
Breaking Into the Battlerock
- From where you begin, grab the Bob-Omb (the round black ball with eyes) and bring it to the glass cage holding the Launch Star. Shake the Wiimote to throw it. If you make a mistake, you can return to any Bob-Omb dispenser to get another.
- Next area: run to the green-colored area and grab a Bob-Omb. Bring it back to the red area and free the Luma trapped in the cage. Watch out for the Chomps. Launch off.
- Next area: you mst use the pull stars to make through the minefield. Just hold A as you latch onto a star till Mario centers on it, then move to the next. Grab the Life Mushroom in the center of the field, then from there make your way left to the Launch Star.
- Next area: use the green warp pipe. The Bob-Ombs here are mobile; knock them out with a spin and use them to break the cage open
- The cage was holding a cannon. The goal is to launch Mario into the blue crystal floating above. If you miss, you must use another cannon on the other side (use the Bob-Ombs to free it). The crystal will need to be hit twice.
- Breaking the crystal frees a Luma that will create a launch star. Use it to escape.
- Next area: grab the Bob-Omb and run down through the gantlet of electric barriers to a glass cage holding another cannon. Free the cannon.
- You must now time your cannon shot so that Mario reaches the star dead center of the rotating gates. The big red gates are the biggest worry; wait till it rotates out of the way before you decide to launch.
Battlerock's Garbage Dump
- Select the Breaking Into The Battlerock" level. Play it as normal, only when you reach the mult-colored area with the Chomps, search for a hungry Luma on the yellow-colored section. Feed him enough Star Bits to fly to the next area.
- At the garbage dump, a Gearhead (the talking robot) will invite you to play a mini-game in where you must blow up all the trash around in 30 seconds or less using Bob-Ombs. If you win, you get a star. Do NOT pick up the coins embedded in the ground, they actually hint where to set the bombs.
- If you are having trouble, try following these steps:
- Grab the bomb second from the left and throw it at the coin in the upper left corner.
- Grab the bomb furthest to the left and throw it at the coin directly in the middle.
- Grab the two bombs on the right and throw them onto the coins on the far right.
- If this is done correctly, there should be only a couple garbage piles on the bottom left. Set a bomb by the coin they are next to.
- If there are some garbage piles that you had missed in the previous steps, try setting a line of bombs together, starting from the one set in step 4, so that when it explodes, it sets them all off. If done right, you can take out the last garbage piles along with any stragglers at the same time.
Topmaniac and the Topman Tribe
- From where you start, run past the Rocky Wrenches (the moles hiding in the manholes) and use the pull star to go up to a Sling Star.
- Next area: a disc travels down a minefield. Shoot the mines with Star Bits (or just avoid them) and use the Launch Star.
- Next area: Mario encounters a "Topman". The only way to kill a Topman is to hit it with spin attacks into an electric fence (note that it will try to do the same to you). Defeat the Topman here to free a Luma who will transform into a Launch Star.
- Next area: smash the crate right behind the Rocky Wrench for a warp pipe. Take it.
- Next area: the pointers here reverse gravity whenever they are spin attacked. Hit the first one here to reverse gravity and drop down.
- Keep going right across the moving platforms. At the circular structures, wait till the line up horizontally before running through them; move quickly so that you are not dumped into the lava below.
- Keep going right until you see another pointer; hit it to reverse gravity and travel along the ceiling left. Do not let the moving platforms push you back into the gravity field leading to the floor below (unless you are interested in the 1-up).
- Keep going left until there is a hole in the ceiling you can drop "upwards" in. Run to the right, avoiding the crushers. Use the purple droid to reach the warp pipe at the end.
- Next area: watch out for the purple droid shooting ring-shaped laser waves; jump over his ring waves and use him to reach a Sling Star above.
- The Sling Star leads to an arena with two Topmen. Knock them into the electric fences to open the way forward. Launch off.
- Next area: search through the small maze of electric barriers for an opening to the surface on the other side.
- Talk to the blue Luma and he will give you either a 1-up or a Life Mushroom (always choose the Life Mushroom unless you are very much low on lives). Then ascend the steps to the boss.
- BOSS: Topmaniac
- Kill the Topminis first (the little yellow tops) with a simple spin attack. Then stomp on Topmaniac to stun him and force his blades to retract. Before he recovers, knock him into the electric fence with a spin attack. Do not touch him as he can still bounce you away.
- Topmaniac will send another squadron of Topminis; eliminate them and damage Topmaniac again as before.
- For the final wave, Topmaniac will summon two Topmen. Deal with them and then damage Topmaniac again as before. He will die and drop a star.
Topmaniac Daredevil Run (COMET)
- The comet for Battlerock Galaxy sees you fighting against Topmaniac with only one health point; one hit and you are dead, with no way to increase your health. Otherwise, Topmaniac fights the same. It's best to be aggressive with Topmaniac, and kill him quickly before his sidekicks get too meddlesome.
Luigi Under The Saucer (Green Star)
- This star is only available after
- Completing "Luigi And The Haunted Mansion" in Ghostly Galaxy and
- Receiving the appropriate letter from Luigi from Mailtoad.
- When you receive the letter from Mailtoad, this level will be selectable from the Battlerock Galaxy set.
- To complete it, progress to the end of the level, where you collected the star for "Battlerock Barrage". Luigi is inside a glass cage underneath the same platform that was holding the star. You must lure a Bullet Bill to the underneath of the ledge to hit Luigi's cage. Try to have a Bullet Bill follow you as closely as possible, so that it will follow you under the discs and without colliding against obstacles. Talk to Luigi when he's freed. The Green Star he gives you is part of a trio that will unlock the Trial Galaxies.
