Bee Mario Takes Flight
- Follow the dirt trail to the hole the boulders are spawning from.
- Up the hill from the hole spawning boulders is a ? Coin. Grab it to reveal a Bee Mushroom.
- Take the Bee Mushroom and use it to fly behind the waterfall. Careful to not get wet as this removes the power-up.
- Past the waterfall is a tube; drop down into it (grab the 1-Up behind it first)
- As Bee Mario, fly along the path of honey. The honey is sticky and will limit Mario's jump. Use the Launch Star at the end.
- Next area: from where you land, fly to the right and use the flower near the Bee Mushroom as a vine to fling Mario to the flowers (shake the Wiimote, just like a vine).
- Hop along the floating flowers and reach the Launch Star. In the next area, use the honeycombs to climb to the top.
- As Bee Mario, crawl along the Queen Bee's body, collecting the star chips in her fur. After collecting them all, use the newly created Launch Star.
- Talk to the Toad Captain (the one with the utility light on his head). He will grant you a star.
- NOTE: The Toad Brigade will move into the Observatory after completing this level. The most important part of this is that one of the Toads, "Mailtoad", will provide letters to Mario. These letters can grant 1-ups or even unlock new levels. Check with Mailtoad whenever an envelope symbol appears above his head. Another feature of the Toads is that they will let Mario use their space ship, called a "Starshroom", as a platform to use at certain points in later levels.

Trouble On The Tower
- Follow up the trail where the rolling boulders are spawning. Ground pound the second stone block you encounter up the trail (jump above it, then press Z in midair). It will be destroyed and create a vine.
- Use the vine to scale up to a new area. In the new area, search for a spring pad that leads up to a Sling Star.
- The Sling Star lands Mario near a creature called a Wiggler. Ground pound the red button it is patroling to create a bridge.
- Cross the bridge and ground pound the brown button to reveal a series of steps Mario can wall jump upwards (jump into a wall, then jump again when Mario is sliding down it).
- Climb up the hill at the top to find a Launch Star parked in between two wood scaffolds. Wall Jump underneath the star up the scaffolds and launch when you reach it.
- Next area: follow the structures down to a sling star, then sling to another structure and drop down the tube.
- Next area: Use the trapeze swing past the bee to move forward. If you encounter Mandibugs (the aggressive purple bugs), destroy them with ground pounds.
- Past the trapeze swing is a red button; ground pound it to start up a windmill. Use the windmill to reach the top of this area.
- At the top is a big Mandibug with a baby bug on its back. Hit the pair with two ground pounds and collect the star they will drop.

Big Bad Bugaboom
- Watch out for Manibugs as you make your way about. Head to where you grabbed the ? Coin in "Bee Mario/Luigi Takes Flight". This time, there is a bubble maker here; step on the block in front of it to ride a bubble to a ledge above.
- Get the Life Mushroom on the tree stump, then grab the Bee Mushroom and head down the warp pipe near it.
- In the next area, avoid the bubble makers and fly up to the nearby ledge, then into the tunnel behind the waterfall.
- Talk to the queen and she will create a Launch Star to continue on. In the next area, use the giant flowers and Bee Mario's flight power to reach the center island for a boss fight.
- BOSS: Bugaboom
- Always make sure to stay as Bee Mario (look for Bee Mushrooms nearby if need be). Right off the bat, fly above the boss' back and ground pound him.
- He will now begin flying around the area, dropping bombs. Use the flower stems to launch Bee Mario into the air, and guide him above the boss' back for another ground pound.
- Repeat for the third wave. Be aware that on the third wave, he will move quite fast. After one more ground pound, he will die and drop the star.

Honeyhive Cosmic Mario Race (COMET)
- Use repeated long jumps to stay ahead of the Cosmic Bro. At the fork, turn left, going down towards the waterfall base.
- At the base of the waterfall, use a backflip on the blocks at the bottom to jump up to the basin above.
- From the basin, use another backflip to get to the top. You may need to add a spin attack to get just enough height to make it.
- Long jump down the tunnel and then off the cliff to the right. You will land at the base of the slide.
- Use a backflip on the block to scale up the cliff. Long jump past the honey to the star at the end.
- NOTE:Cosmic Mario will be an easier foe here, as he gets stuck in the honey at the end. Cosmic Luigi will require much better play; you must constantly be long jumping ahead of Cosmic Luigi and use your backflips quickly.

Luigi in the Honeyhive Kingdom
- This star is only available after
- Completing "Luigi And The Haunted Mansion" in Ghostly Galaxy and
- Receiving the appropriate letter from Luigi from Mailtoad.
- When you receive the letter from Mailtoad, this level will be selectable from the Honeyhive Galaxy set.
- To complete it, follow the path to the ? Coin, as was done in "Bee Mario/Luigi Takes Flight". Grab it to spawn a Bee Mushroom, then fly onto the ledge behind the waterfall. From that ledge, fly up to the ledge above, on the left, with a tree. Luigi is clinging to the tree; knock him out of there by shooting him with a Star Bit.
- Talk to Luigi afterward.

Painting the Planet Yellow
- The goal is to turn every blue "?" square yellow by touching it. A yellow square will turn back to blue if it is touched again. Start by going to the left from where you land towards the the side with the sliding trap. Clear out the blue squares here.
- Jump from the sliding trap to the blue square in front of the one you start on. Clear out all the squares on this side, watching out for the droid shooting lethal rings.
- Head to the right towards another group of squares, accompanied with a sliding trap. Clear them all; when all the squares are yellow, the board will turn green, the traps will deactivate, and the star will be above the ring-shooting droid. Use the droid as a springboard to reach it.

Surfing 101
- Talk to the Penguin Coach and answer "Yes". Practice riding the manta ray (point the Wiimote at the screen to orient, then tilt the Wiimote left/right to turn and hold A to increase your speed).
- The race will begin when you enter the blue tunnel; you must complete a full lap within a minute and a half. Simply steer the manta ray along the course, releasing the A button to slow down on turns. Note that the manta ray has a harder time turning "uphill" and turns very loosely going "downhill".
- Complete the course under 1:30.00 for a star.
