Super Mario Galaxy 2

This game is the sequel to Super Mario Galaxy, which will be released on the same game system as its predecessor, the Wii. The game is set to be released on May 23, 2010 in North America and June 11, 2010 in Europe http://www.mariowiki.com/Main_Page.

The only other game is in the Super Mario Galaxy series is the original Super Mario Galaxy. The game follows the main basis for most of the other Mario games, but takes place in 3D and in space, where the levels are in galaxies and the mini-game levels take place on planets. You play as Mario and are on a mission to rescue Princess Peach from the evil Bowser. Of course, Yoshi returns as well and, as always, Mario's colors and abilities change with what kind of fruit he eats throughout game play, such as the Dash Pepper and Blimp Berry.

The game includes many of the classic features and power-ups as the previous games such as the Mushrooms, Fire Flowers and the somewhat new Rainbow Star which makes Mario invincible for a limited period of time. The main objective of this version is the same as far as Power Stars go, considering that the main point of defeating enemies and levels is to collect as many of them as possible, which unlocks features and makes some bonus levels available as well http://wii.ign.com/objects/143/14354736.html.
