The Green Bay Packers defeated the Oakland Raiders 33-14 in the NFL-AFL World Championship Game. The game was played at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Florida on January 14, 1968. At that time the NFL and AFL were separate leagues and following the individual league playoffs the AFL Champion would meet the NFL Champion to determine an overall champion. Bart Starr was selected as the game MVP after the Green Bay quarterback tallied 202 years and one touchdown. Packers coach Vince Lombardi retired after the victory.
