Several advertisers used 3D to make their Super Bowl commercials stand out in 2009. DreamWorks presented a trailer for their upcoming movie Monsters vs. Aliens in 3D, while PepsiCo. aired a 3D ad for their SoBe Life Water entitled "Lizard Lake".
