Sun Belt Tournament

The Sun Belt Tournament is a NCAA Division I college basketball single-elimination tournament. The winner of the Sun Belt Tournament is automatically placed in the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship.

Members of the Sun Belt Conference include the University of Arkansas-Little Rock, Arkansas State University, the University of Denver, Florida Atlantic University, Florida International UNiversity, University of Louisiana-Lafayette, University of Louisiana-Monroe, Middle Tennessee State University, the University of New Orleans, the University of North Texas, the University of South Alabama, Troy University and Western Kentucky University. http://www.sunbeltsports.org/SportSelect.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=4100&KEY=&SPID=1825&SPSID=22332

In 2010, the tournament was held at the Summit Arena in Hot Springs, Arkansas from March 6 to 9.

North Texas beat Troy 66-63 to become the 2010 Sun Belt Men's Basketball Champions. Eric Tramiel was voted the MVP.
