Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring. MVP is out next. The bell rings and Jeff goes right at MVP. They go to the outside and Jeff sends MVP into the barrier. Back in the ring, Jeff slams MVP and hits a leg drop. Jeff lands kicks on MVP in the corner and the whips him to the opposite end, but MVP catches him with a snap belly-to-belly.MVP now has Jeff in a headlock, but Jeff breaks out, only to be locked into a leg lock. Both men eventually get to their feet and MVP lands some more offense. Jeff finally start to fight back and goes for a drop kick in the corner, but MVP catches it. MVP charges into the corner, but Jeff counter with a clothesline/front bulldog. Russian leg sweep from Hardy to MVP, but it only gets a two.

WINNER: MVP
Maria is backstage to interview Santino and Beth Phoenix. Santino talks about his relationship with Beth and says the tabloids call them "Glamarella." That's about it.

Winner Take All Tag Team Match
Entrances, entrances, entrances. Mickie James, Kofi Kingston, Glamazon and Santino make their ways to the ring. The women start off, and the match is underway. Glamazon mocks Mickie and lock up. Glamazon powers her way out of a side headlock. James is actually trying to mat wrestle the Glamazon--big mistake. James dropkicks Glamazon to her knees and another kick to her face. Glamazon hits a back suplex on James and tags in Santino.
Santino scolds James with a finger. James twists Santino's finger and tags in Kofi. Kofi gets the early advantage, throwing Santino all over the ring.
Lover's spat here. Santino knocks Glamazon off the apron accidentally. They have a short argument, but recover. Kofi tries to grab Santino from the outside, but gets his neck hung over the top rope. Santino with the advantage now, tags in Glamazon. Glamazon gets a few shots in on Kofi, but tags in Santino again.
Santino locks Kofi in a chinlock. He yells "ring the bell" to the ref. Seriously, he has got to be the funniest person in the company. The women are tagged in. Mickie gets the upper hand with a series of punches and kicks. She dropkicks Santino off the apron, and does her turnbuckle head scissors on Phoenix. Lou Thesz off the top. She tries to get a fall, but Santino interferes. Kofi charges Santino, who holds the top rope down as Kofi sails over to the outside.
Mickie DDTs Santino, but is struck behind the head by Glamazon. Glamazon gets her finisher on Phoenix. Three-count. This match is over. Glamazon is now the WWE Women's Champion, and Santino has just been revived from the DDT to learn he is the new Intercontinental Champion.
They are hugging all over the ring, while Santino acts as though he won the match.
Glamazon is holding Santino on HER shoulders as they leave the ring. This is hilarious!
WINNER: Glamazon and Santino

Shawn Michaels Announcement
Video package: recap of the Shawn Michaels angle with Jericho. Is he retiring? Or will he come back and get revenge? Hmmmm...Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring with his wife. He grabs a mic and first thanks everyone who supported him through the ordeal. He says his doctors re-evaluated his eye, and compounded with his knee surgeries and other injuries, his doctor told him to "walk away." Boos from the audience. He now insists he is walking away with no regrets.
He recaps his life, his dreams. When's Chris Jericho coming in to stop this reminiscing?
His wife is crying as he talks about "screwing Bret Hart," forming DX, "losing his smile" and retiring Ric Flair. He now says he wants to be a full-time husband and father. And right before he can thank more people, Jericho's pyro goes off!
Jericho goes to the ring with a stone cold face and a pinstriped suit. He probably didn't blink his eyes once by the time he grabbed a mic.
Jericho says he's not gonna let HBK leave on HBK's terms. He wants HBK to admit that he's leaving because of Y2J. HBK is actually questioning Jericho's "decency." Jericho again reminds HBK that he's the one who damaged his eye and is causing his retirement. Jericho then plays the "family" card, mocking HBK's wife and kids. It's personal now, folks!
Jericho again asks HBK to admit that it was Y2J who put him out of commission. This can only get better if Marty Jannetty walks in, still in his Rockers outfit, and takes them all out.
HBK mockingly says "I will sit my wife and kids down and tell them I can't wrestle because of a vile, selfish, worthless human being." HBK wants Y2J to go home, sit his wife and kids down and tell them that "Daddy will never, ever be Shawn Michaels." Good one, Shawn!
HBK's wife pulls HBK away, Y2J tries to sucker-punch Shawn, but HITS Shawn's wife instead! Y2J looks coldly (but somewhat remorseful) as Shawn tends to his wife. In the background, Lillian Garcia looks shocked! Y2J looks even more sorry as he walks up the ramp to a round of boos. Shawn and Y2J stare down. I expect a full "Shawn made me do it" speech from Jericho tomorrow on Raw. EMTs tend to Shawn's wife, who is out cold.
She regains consciousness and is helped up by the refs and EMTs. On replay, it actually looks like she was punched. Whoa. She has a fat lip on the left side of her face. She was hit hard.
Commentators are staying quiet on this one. HBK and his wife embrace as they replay the hit continuously. Her lip is swollen. Ouch.

Matt Hardy vs. Mark Henry
Matt Hardy makes his way to the ring to challenge Mark Henry for the ECW title. Mark Henry is out next with Tony Atlas.Bell rings and Matt pop Henry, but Henry just tosses him to the corner. Matt Hardy then hits a twist of fate. He covers, but Atlas pulls Matt out of the ring before the ref can count to 3. The ref rings the bell as Matt and Henry battle on the outside. Jeff Hardy comes down to help. Jeff hits a swanton on Atlas, then the Hardy's double suplex Henry on the outside.
And just like that, this match is over.
WINNER: Matt Hardy (DQ)
Next is a video package of the least anticipated feud of the card; CM Punk against JBL.

JBL vs CM Punk
JBL comes out first followed by CM Punk. They lock up and JBL back Punk into the corner. JBL begins brawling with Punk and then puts him in a headlock to slow things down. Off the ropes with a shoulder block, but Punk fights back with kicks. JBL is on the outside and Punk hits a cross body through the ropes.
Back in the ring, JBL takes control. JBL continues to wear down Punk with hard punches and elbow drops. Now JBL puts Punk in a bear hug and kills what little momentum there was in this match. JBL continues on offense with a suplex. Yet another bear hug on Punk. I think I can see fans in the audience falling asleep.
JBL now has Punk in an abdominal stretch, but Punk soon breaks out. Punk is then met with a big clothesline followed by about 50 elbowdrops. Punk finally starts fighting back and knocks JBL to the mat. Punk flies off the top rope, but is caught and slammed hard by JBL. He covers, but only gets a two count. JBL goes for the clothesline from hell, but Punk catches him with a flying spin kick.
Punk goes for a bulldog, but JBL puts him on the top turnbuckle and pounds on him. JBL then hits a back suplex from the top rope. Both men get to their feet and Punk hits the GTS. He covers and gets the three. Punk is bleeding from the back of his head after butting heads with JBL earlier in the match. That's gonna need stitches.
WINNER: CM Punk

Great Khali vs. Triple H
Video package hypes up the Triple H-Khali match. If anybody can carry Khali through a title match, it is Triple H. Here we go. Entrances, entrances, entrances. Khali steps over the top rope and yells in the ring. Triple H does his usual water-spitting routine. The bell is rung. The two do the dramatic stare-down. They start slugging it out. Triple H builds an offense, trying a body tackle off the ropes. Khali catches him and chokeslams Triple H. He raises his arms and screams (again) as if he won something. Triple H struggles to his feet.
Khali gets him in the head-crusher move. Triple H kicks Khali's knees to break free, and gets the big man off his feet! Khali rolls to the outside holding his left knee. Triple H follows, but is chopped to the head. Khali throws him into the security wall, barely missing a photographer. Khali throws Triple H in the ring. Khali kicks and elbows Triple H in the corner, then falls to the canvas.
Short-arm clothesline by Khali. Fans are chanting "you can't wrestle" at Khali, who puts Triple H in a nerve hold. Triple H breaks free, but Khali slams him to the canvas and drops a leg. Back to the nerve hold. Triple H elbows his way out, and follows with a series of punches.
Triple H hits the rope, knee to the face on Khali; Khali gets tied in the ropes. Triple H charges, but is met with Khali's boot to the face. Triple H tries a Pedigree, but is flipped over the top rope to the outside by Khali. No, he did not tear his quad again.
Khali goes after Triple H, but HHH grabs Khali's left leg and rams it against the ringpost. Triple H charges Khali from the apron; Khali chops HHH in the face. Triple H goes down and rolls into the ring.
Both back inside now. Khali goes back to his head-crusher move. Triple H hits Khali with ineffective body shots. The crowd cheers on Triple H, who is fading away. Triple H miraculously separates Khali's hands and kicks away at Khali's knee and escapes. Triple H again goes for the Pedigree and connects! 1-2-3!
WINNER: Triple H, who retains his title

John Cena vs. Batista
Video package hypes up the match six years in the making.John Cena makes his way to the ring. His opponent, meat head Batista, is out next. He's hopping and twirling on his way down the aisle.
The bell rings and the two men stare each other down. They start by exchanging hip tosses, Cena then bodyslams Batista. Batista goes for an early Batista bomb, but it turns into a big clothesline on Cena. Batista then hits a suplex, but Cena comes back and hits one of his own.
Cena goes for an FU, but Batista undercuts hit knee and goes in control. Batista then puts Ric Flair in a figure four. Cena eventually gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. Cena then goes for an FU, but instead throws Batista to the outside.
Back in the ring, Cena hits his setup mood for the You Can't See Me. He hits the five-knuckle shuffle, then goes for an FU, but Batista counters and both are down and the ref starts counting.
They get back up and Batista hits a spinebuster. He tries to set up for a bomb, but Cena counters and lock in the STFU. Batista crawls to the ropes, but Cena drags him back to the middle of the ring and continues the punishment. Batista again crawls and reaches the ropes.
Cena tries another FU, but Batista puts on a rear naked choke of some sort. Cena finally elbows his way out, but is met with a spear from Batista. Batista covers and Cena just barely kicks out. Batista tries to powerslam Cena, but Cena reverses it and hits an FU. Cena crawls to make the cover, but Batista kicks out.
Both men are on the top turnbuckle now, exchanging punches. Cena knocks Batista to the mat. Cena jumps off, but it turns into a Batista Bomb. Batista covers, but Cena manages to kick out. Batista gets Cena back up and hits another bomb. That one does it and he pins Cena for 3.
WINNER: Batista

Edge vs. The Undertaker
The Hell in a Cell is being lowered to dramatic music, and a video package plays to hype it up. Given the circumstances for this match, the entrances for this one alone should be about thirty minutes. Edge makes his way to the ring, staring at the cell with crazed eyes. Will his "Joker" gimmick pay off here?Dramatic silence, fans go nuts, and then the gong. Lights go out, flames go up from the entranceway and the Undertaker is back! The cell is noticeably taller than previous ones, but hopefully, nobody will be climbing to the top of it.
Taker closes the door behind him. This match is on. Edge mounts an offense with some punches. Taker shoves him away and boots Edge in the face. Taker punches Edge in the corner, then throws him outside the ring. Taker rams Edge into the cell wall, methodically kicking and ramming Edge against it.
Taker throws Edge into the steel steps, then legdrops him against the apron. Edge has shown no offense whatsoever in the past few minutes. Taker takes the steel steps into the ring and leans it against the turnbuckle. Taker snake-eyes Edge on the steps, but quickly recovers and throws Edge into the steps. Edge follows up with a dropkick and spear to Taker against the steps in the corner.
Edge goes outside and takes out a table from under the ring. He goes back inside to assault Taker some more with the steps, then goes back outside to take out a second table. Edge stacks the two tables atop each other on the outside. He tries to suplex Taker over the top rope onto them, but Taker breaks free and attempts a chokeslam. Edge breaks free, and hits Taker in the neck with a steel chair from under the ring. He hits Taker again with a chair across the back.
Edge brings another table in the ring. He hits Taker with a chair and sets the table up in the ring. Edge goes outside and brings out a ladder. It's a TLC Hell in a Cell now! Edge brings the ladder into the ring and sets it up in a turnbuckle. The table is still set up within jumping range of the ladder. And again, Edge hits Taker with a chair.
Edge lays Taker on the chair, grabs the chair and climbs the ladder. He jumps, and does the same thing he did to Foley on SmackDown! Edge slams the chair on Taker, and the table is demolished. Edge goes outside and brings two more chairs into the ring. He plans a con-chair-to. As he raises his chair, Taker rises and chokes Edge. Edge breaks free, only to get punched in the face by Taker. Edge is down, Taker recovers on the apron.
Taker boots Edge off the apron into the cell. Taker goes outside and grabs another set of stairs. He rams them into Edge's head, and we're back to how this match started. Edge recovers and runs Taker's head into the post. Edge runs, jumps off the stair and spears Taker through the wall of the cell. A panel falls towards the commentator's tables. Edge is bleeding from his forearm. Folks, they are now outside the cell.
Taker rams Edge's head into the Raw commentator's table, and runs him into the barricade. Taker misses swinging a monitor at Edge, who grabs another monitor and cracks it twice against Taker's skull. Taker rolls onto the Raw table. Edge mounts the SmackDown table, runs over to the Raw table, spearing Taker through the ECW table on the other side!
Both recover. They slug it out, with Taker getting the advantage. Edge goes back into the cell to a round of boos from the crowd. They wanted a "Foley moment" for sure. Edge grabs a ladder in the ring and rams Taker in the face with it. Vickie Guerrero and company look on from backstage.
Edge goes outside and grabs a TV camera. He hits Taker with it a la Survivor Series last year. Edge goes for a cover and gets a two-count.
Edge sets up for a spear, but Taker chokeslams him instead. Taker covers for a two-count. This match is not ending that easily. Taker goes for a Last Ride, but Edge low-blows him. Both men are down.
Edge scores with the Impaler DDT. Two-count again. Taker sits up and tries to do the Last Ride over the top rope onto the two tables outside. Edge recovers, hits a spear and gets a two-count. Edge goes for a ten-punch attack in the corner. Last Ride by Taker. Two-count again. Taker can't believe it!
Taker props the steel steps under the bottom rope, then puts a steel chair near it. He attempts a Tombstone off the steps onto a steel chair below. Edge escapes and rams Taker's head into the steps. Another two-count.
Edge punches away at Taker's head. He tries to perform "Old School" on Taker, who runs into the ropes. Edge lands "gingerly" on the top turnbuckle. Taker grabs Edge's neck and chokeslams him through the two tables outside! It looks like a car wreck.
Taker brings Edge back into the ring. Taker spears Edge! He then grabs that TV camera Edge used earlier and slams Edge's head with it. The lens goes flying!
Taker props Edge for a con-chair-to and connects with a hard slam over the head. Taker is not finished! He sets him up for the Tombstone and connects! 1-2-3. It's over!
WINNER: The Undertaker
Jim Ross praises the athleticism of the competitors as Taker leaves the ring. Just before Taker can make his trademark fist-raise as the entrance, he turns and goes back to the cell with wide eyes.
Taker props up a ladder, sets Edge up on one side of it. Taker takes out another ladder from under the ring. Now both ladders are propped side-by-side. Edge dangles from one of them, Taker climbs the other. What's going on?
Taker chokeslams Edge from the top of the ladders. Edge makes a crater in the ring, similar to how Foley fell through it back in No Way Out 2000.
Suddenly, flames come up from the hole in the ring! Edge is gone! Taker makes his way down the ladder in victory as the show ends.
Next pay-per-view: WWE Unforgiven on September 7, 2008!
