About the Game

Suikoden Tierkreis is a spin off from the main Suikoden franchise and is set in the kingdom of Salsaville, one of the many parallel worlds that make up the Suikoden universe. The 108 Stars of Destiny, a group of heroes, is nearly wiped out in battle against the powerful One King. The player takes on the role of a young boy from Shitoro village, who encounters a strange light while out on patrol in the mountains and is tasked with reassembling the 108 Stars of Destiny.
Each of the 108 heroes is a playable character in the game. Many of them must be found by completing sidequests. Using the Nintendo DS' Wi-Fi connection, players can exchange characters temporarily for completing tasks, obtaining exclusive items or fighting boss fights. The game can be played with either the console's directional pad or the stylus. The top screen displays maps and character status information like HP and MP, while the game's main action takes place on the bottom screen.
Suikoden Tierkreis will be released in North America on March 17, 2009, exclusively for the Nintendo DS.
