Former Indonesian President Suharto was rushed to the hospital on January 5, 2008. He had been repeatedly hospitalized in recent years for strokes and intestinal bleeding. But his latest hospital stay was in response to simultaneous complications with numerous internal organs.ABC News: Suharto's health worsening (January 5, 2008) He was listed in critical condition, but still conscious. Suharto soon fell comatose and died of multiple organ failure on January 28, 2008.
